My day:
A late start of the day. Weather was ok today.
Double header today. Spent most of my time following/watching the WC cricket matches. In the afternoon, I went out to do my shopping and actifit steps. Also, did few of my online tasks.
Later, will watch a movie or binge on TV series.
Cricket News:
50 Overs World Cup 2023
New Zealand v/s Pakistan.
Pakistan won the toss and elected to field first. New Zealand scored 401/6 in 50 overs. In reply, Pakistan were 200/1 when the match had to be called off due to rain. But, at that point Pakistan were ahead by 21 runs as per DLS method.
So, Pakistan win the match by 21 runs. With this win, hopes to reach semi-finals still stay alive.England play against Australia
England won the toss and elected to field. Australia were allout for 286 in 49.3 overs. In reply. England were allout for 253 in 48.1 overs. Australia win by 33 runs. Australia get one step closer to qualify for the semi-finals.
Tomorrow India play against South Africa.
