My Illuminati Coin Collection: Silver Washington Quarter

avatar
(Edited)

Going through my collection, I came across this "U.S. Coins of the Twentieth Century" acrylic. It has examples (of varying quality) of US coinage from the early-20th century to modern.

One coin that really stands out is the shiny 1958silver quarter in the middle.

It's not exactly in perfect condition, but this appears to be a proof and of very high quality. A great example of the old silver quarter.

Over the next few weeks, I'll go over some other favorites from this collection.

Teach Your Children Liberty from Sin

We encourage parents to teach their children principles of Godliness, beginning with the Word and an understanding who God is and what His Son has done to form a relationship with us.

No one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, his workmanship will be evident, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will prove the quality of each man’s work. 1 Corinthians 3:11-13

Teach Your children Liberty from Tyranny

Second to this is the principle of self-determination and freedom, lest we loose the ability to teach our children the first principle in future generations.

Our children read the Tuttle Twin books, specifically to learn libertarian principles, which most people learn later in life. These books are useful for our family, and yours, to teach children concepts that seem complicated, but are made simple in these books.

I am an affiliate for Libertas Publishing, your purchase will help our family grow financially.

Even though you say it is not in perfect condition, I see it very well, and I wish I could have one or two or who knows more than three coins like that, in a short time they will have great historical value.

US coinage is found all over the world. While it might be tricky finding a silver quarter, regular clad quarters like these are not difficult to acquire. This one is unique because of it's age and condition, besides it's metal content, they're fairly rare even in the US! !BBH

The 1958 silver quarter must be a real gem in your collection, especially if it's a proof.
Even if it's not in perfect condition, it's such a great piece of history to have.

It's old, but not that old. My parents were eight when this coin was minted! !BBH

Those good old days when money was real money and not cheap, worthless metal or worthless paper.

when money was real money

Economies would do much better with a currency with intrinsic value. The citizens have been robbed of massive wealth, without a single protest. But in 1964, if a silver quarter bought a gallon of gas and in 1964 a clad quarter bought a gallon of gas, people didn't care!

Here we are 60 years later and now it takes 11 or 12 clad quarters for a gallon of gas!

You say it is not in perfect condition, well for an expert like you it is like that, when I saw it I was dazzled, it is extraordinary.
You know what I think : You have a lot of knowledge, it is like seeing a work of art and analyzing it under various parameters, I on the other hand, analyze it from another perspective, obviously simpler.

Thank you for your kind words, but I'm hardly an expert! I've had the pleasure of seeing coins in near-perfect condition and it's a marvel. By simple parameters, it is a dazzling coin and holds it's value well. !BBH

I've never calculated it's worth. There are some good coins in there, I would imagine it's worth quite a bit. !BBH
