We Are Alive! August 20th, 2024 "We Believe" Signs

It has been very trendy to post "we believe" signs, mostly having to do with liberal talking points. Lately, I've been seeing "we believe" signs that are on the completely other side of the political spectrum.

The sign above is a counter narrative to the popular "we believe" rainbow sign.

Here's another "We Believe" sign that made me chuckle:

Teach Your Children Liberty from Sin

We encourage parents to teach their children principles of Godliness, beginning with the Word and an understanding who God is and what His Son has done to form a relationship with us.

No one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, his workmanship will be evident, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will prove the quality of each man’s work. 1 Corinthians 3:11-13

Teach Your children Liberty from Tyranny

Second to this is the principle of self-determination and freedom, lest we loose the ability to teach our children the first principle in future generations.

Our children read the Tuttle Twin books, specifically to learn libertarian principles, which most people learn later in life. These books are useful for our family, and yours, to teach children concepts that seem complicated, but are made simple in these books. I am an affiliate for Libertas Publishing, your purchase will help our family grow financially.

Bank Bailout Special!

It's happening, folks. The banks are going under! To educate our children about what is going on, there is a "Bank Bailout Book Bonanza" going on with the Tuttle Twins! Use coupon code FORTY for 40% off your purchase! Check out the books here.

I can imagine that lots of people use their yard to express their beliefs!

I'm not a fan of any of these signs. I honestly do not care what someone in some random house believes. Just feels like another way to divide people. "This is what I believe and don't bother me otherwise", is kind of the vibe I get from those signs.

I hear you, it's virtue signaling. Although several of these are sort of parody signs, intended to upset (or trigger) people who think differently. I don't really see the "virtue" in upsetting people on purpose.

Agreed. I've heard that term and now I get it. Seems like a social media thing and Hive & Discord are the only social media I have, so have not run into it much, thankfully.

I have some new neighbors that put these two signs out when they moved in last year.

I have to say I like these. The first one has a lot to read (for a yard sign) but I love everything it says. Also it's just quotes from someone most people know as being a good & kind human and it's not telling you what to believe. The second one is just nice. I like these neighbors :)
