We Are Alive! My Boy's first Lego Build

I recently purchased a lego set for my youngest boy. He's played with legos but never actually built anything before. With daddy's help, we put together a police car. He was so happy to play with it when it was done!

I had to remind him to use the instruction book, he wanted only to look at the photo on the box and just make it that way.

Because of a mixup they sent two sets. I tried sending one back, but they said no return is needed. This was a special surprise, since that means my other boy got to put together one also.

Daddy put the pieces where they went and my little one "snapped" them in place. He was so delighted seeing a police car take shape.

He concentrated his attention putting the pieces together.

He was so happy when it was completed!

And best of all, he helped put it together and his big brother has another car so they can drive together!

Happy day for my young boy!

I love being home and sharing these experiences with my sons!

Teach Your Children Liberty from Sin

We encourage parents to teach their children principles of Godliness, beginning with the Word and an understanding who God is and what His Son has done to form a relationship with us.

No one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, his workmanship will be evident, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will prove the quality of each man’s work. 1 Corinthians 3:11-13

Teach Your children Liberty from Tyranny

Second to this is the principle of self-determination and freedom, lest we loose the ability to teach our children the first principle in future generations.

Our children read the Tuttle Twin books, specifically to learn libertarian principles, which most people learn later in life. These books are useful for our family, and yours, to teach children concepts that seem complicated, but are made simple in these books.

I am an affiliate for Libertas Publishing, your purchase will help our family grow financially.

Lego were my absolute favorite toy as a kid. I used to make Transformers out of them, that almost had the shape of a robot like figure when they transformed. Perhaps more like a Gobot :)

the first one is always the best... You definitely had that awesome Dad-Sons day... usually a girl doesn't connect well with lego, so I wonder if she gave that confused look about "what is so interesting with this block?"

Legos are nice toys not just for fun but also for kids' mental development. Even adults enjoy them for as a collector's item.

Oh very nice .I am also a police officer, can I get a car? I am just joking. Children should do such activities so that their creative mind is built. I am very happy to see all this. Great job sir.

Remember LEGO is not just for kids and as adults we can get a similar amount of fun! I’ve just finished one of the modular buildings and really enjoyed it (spread the fun over a few days like a typical !SLOTH )
