We Are Alive! November 12th, 2024 Remembering

It's been a few weeks since coming back from our Sukkot gathering and only now are we unpacked and getting back to usual. We take our time to ensure things are put away properly.

The experience included many worship assemblies where we sang and prayed, along with giving testimonies. The fellowship we experienced really was one of the greatest parts of the trip.

We also enjoyed setting up our own "booth". This year we decorated it with leaves and lights and made it functional both for cooking and eating.

We even had a clock this year, so we wouldn't be late to events.

The camping trip was a peak color, so we enjoyed amazingly brilliant sights before the trees dropped all their leaves. It was particularly beautiful to over the lake.

These are just a few snapshots from the week. Great memories and we look forward to next year with another fantastic Sukkot.

Teach Your Children Liberty from Sin

We encourage parents to teach their children principles of Godliness, beginning with the Word and an understanding who God is and what His Son has done to form a relationship with us.

No one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, his workmanship will be evident, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will prove the quality of each man’s work. 1 Corinthians 3:11-13

Teach Your children Liberty from Tyranny

Second to this is the principle of self-determination and freedom, lest we loose the ability to teach our children the first principle in future generations.

Our children read the Tuttle Twin books, specifically to learn libertarian principles, which most people learn later in life. These books are useful for our family, and yours, to teach children concepts that seem complicated, but are made simple in these books.

I am an affiliate for Libertas Publishing, your purchase will help our family grow financially.

It usually rains during Sukkot here in Canada. Sometimes it snows. It usually coincides with the Canadian Thanksgiving / Harvest Festival so that’s nice.

Perfect timing! I've often wondered if Canadian Thanksgiving is related to the biblical holiday. !BBH

I'm glad you were able to take part in so many worship assemblies and enjoy the fellowship.
The "booth" setup with leaves and lights sound lovely, and having a clock to stay on schedule was a great idea.

I think you didn't make day to day posts about your camping trip this year, unlike the previous years. Or, did I miss those!

Good to see some snapshots of the trip.

Way to go!

No, I did more of an overview. There were so many events, it would be tricky to post them all! !BBH

Looks like you guys had a good time. The weather still looks pretty good too, although I'm sure that will be changing soon!
