The current project is a scone baking project. My wife is making several large batches of scones for an upcoming Wedding shower. Scones are triangle shaped pastries that are soft and sweet. Perfect to go with a cup of tea!

We discovered that the recipe that calls for lime and lime zest is too acidic for them the rise properly, so they flattened down loosing that signature triangle shape. We tried it with orange and orange zest and it worked much better.
