Today was my first seven hour walk day. Technically it was 6 hours with an hour break, but it was starting around one and ending at eight. Home by 8:30.

It was a super hot day today, sweat was pouring down my back, into my eyes from my forehead, soaking the back of my head. Thankfully I had cold water in the car to refresh myself, but it's too heavy to carry with me. Very grateful to have found a neighbor offering free cold water to visitors.

By the time I was finished, the sun was setting and it was getting dark. I saw fuel for a good price and topped off the car for under $40. It's sad that gas over $3/gallon is considered a "good deal" because of a zero.

Most fuel prices are $3.50 or more, so happy to have saved some cash.
