I do like reading books, but I tend to read translated webnovels/light novels.
As someone who likes anime, I read a bunch of stuff from slice of life, action, isekai and other types of novels.
I read them online.
As for authors, I don't really view the authors much so I can't name one by name, but I tend to recognize the novels that I liked.

I used to read some mangas when I was a bit younger. Now I gave all my collections to my son that likes them on the shelves but doesn't really read them lol
