Instead of giving away tokens last contest, I commissioned both reviews of Episode 1, as well as an ask for readlist referrals.

I smiled, despite a tiny little idea that begged me to acknowledge it. The idea had to do with being trapped here forever, that I was dead wrong about avoiding Persi’s original fate, but I was not about to entertain it until we’d been thorough in our investigation.

Persi’s arm wrapped around my waist, and thoughts of my own friends’ health and safety steeled my resolve. I was angry at myself for hiding away and trying to forget the incident in the park. Had we been more proactive, Willy might still be alive. Hesitation was death.

That right there tells us that she's a hero. Someone willing to do whatever it takes, even if she's afraid.
