I started playing Splinterlands in March 2019, more than 4 years ago, and to date I have played:

• 2271 battles in the Modern Format
• 25554 battles in the Wild Format

I have always played manually because I simply like playing Splinterlands and because Splinterlands has always been my favorite blockchain game and still is today.

In my personal list of preferences on games to play and/or invest in I always assign very high weight to two elements in particular:

• the presence of a fun game play
• the presence of the PvP mode.

Splinterlands has both of these two elements but before the introduction of anti-bots measures it was more of a PvB = Player Vs Bots than a Player Vs Players.

Before the introduction of the anti-bots measures in the Modern Format I used to play in the Wild Format while now I play only and exclusively in the Modern Format because I only want to play against real players like me who enjoy taking their time to play the game battles.

For this reason I was very happy that:

• on July 25, 2023 the anti-bots measures were introduced in the Modern Format- on September 19, 2023 the TOS of Splinterlands were updated with the banning of using any kind of automation (Bots and Battle Helpers) in Modern Format battles, Tournaments and Brawls.
  

It's been a little over 2 days since the introduction of the ban on the use of Battle Helpers in Modern format and so I don't have much data yet to evaluate possible positive effects on my game results but today my first feeling was positive because:

• I played 23 battles in the Modern Format Gold leagues.- I got 15 wins

I got a win rate of 62.22% which is much higher than the win rate I got in the previous season (season #118) by playing 13 out of 15 days in the Modern Format Gold leagues.

I repeat that the game results I obtained today could be the result of a series of positive victories due to luck but I like to think that the game results I obtained today are already a first positive effect of the absence of battle helpers or at least of their decrease.

Introducing a ban does not equate to an effective ban which will depend on the effectiveness of Splinterlands monitoring activity but already the fact that the most famous battle helpers are not used/available is already an important step in the right direction.

Today I also record another positive result related to my gain of SPS tokens for victory.

Infact if I compare the average SPS I won from battle victories in the previous season with the SPS I won today I get another positive result.
In season 118 I gained a total of 401.74 SPS with 150 battle wins.Today I gained 54.31 SPS with 15 battle wins.

I gained an average of +0.92 SPS per battle won compared with the previous season's results.

When there are just under 8 days left until the end of season 119 I am in the Gold I league with a rating score of 2728 points and 24 Diamond chests collected.

At the beginning of the current season of Splinterlands, I changed my seasonal strategy.
My current season strategy is as follows:
I will play mostly in Gold leagues and decide only on the last day of the season whether to advance to Diamond leagues:

• If at the end of the season I enter the award-winning positions on the leaderboard I will remain in the Gold I league.
• If at the end of the season I fail to enter the awarded positions of the Gold leaderboard I will advance to the Diamond leagues.

After my positive game results today I am in 50 place on the Gold leaderboard.

I chose to follow this strategy to maximize the accumulation of SPS tokens that are one of my main goals on Splinterlands.

If I advance in the Diamond III and Diamond II leagues I get a lower average gain in SPS tokens than when I play in the Gold I league because:

• in the Gold I league I have a SPS boost greater than 10x
• in the Diamond II league, I have an SPS boost of about 7x-8x.

The average gain per win is higher in the Gold I league than the gains achievable with the ratings that allow playing in the Diamond III and Diamond II leagues.
I could get a similar gain in the Gold I league only with a rating close to the Diamond I league entry threshold but I have since playing in Modern reached a maximum rating of 3530 points and in the Diamond I league I get a much lower win rate than the win rate I get in the Gold I league.

I will end this post by sharing my progress in upgrading my Chaos Legion card collection.

Today I decided to upgrade two of my cards of the Water element:

• Nerissa Tridawn: level 1 -> level 4.
• Igor Darkspear: level 3 -> level 4

Nerissa Tridawn is a card I don't use much but in battles that have a lot of available mana and the Wands Out ruleset it is always a good choice because it has much life and a magic attack of:

• 3 points (from level 1 to level 3)
• 4 points (level 3 to level 5)
• 5 points (level 6)

To upgrade Nerissa Tridawn (level 1 -> level 4) I purchased 11 BCX because I had 9 BCX in my collection.

To purchase 11 BCX I used Monstermarket.
I spent 9817.32 DEC but also received cashback.

Today I also decided to upgrade Igor Darkspear: level 3 -> level 4.

Igor Darkspear when he reaches level 4 gains the Stun ability which is a particularly useful ability in battles that have the Heavy Hitters battle rule.
It is also a card that has a mana cost of only two points and is a viable alternative in battles that have the Little league and Going to Distance rulesets.

I found a lot of difference between the low buy price and the low buy price for BCX and therefore made a buy offer for 10 BCX on Peakmonsters

I continue to set growth goals on Splinterlands, continue to increase the battle strength of my card collection, and await with much excitement the start of Phase 1.5 of lands and the fully playable versions of Genesis League Soccer and Soulkeep that will expand the Splinterlands ecosystem

L'analisi dei risultati di una mia sessione di gioco nel modern format dopo due giorni dal divieto dei Battle Helpers!

Ho iniziato a giocare a Splinterlands nel marzo del 2019, più di 4 anni fa, e fino ad oggi ho giocato:

• 2271 battaglie nel Modern Format
• 25554 battaglie nel Wild Format

Ho sempre giocato manualmente perchè semplicemente mi piace giocare su Splinterlands e perchè Splinterlands è sempre stato il mio gioco blockchain preferito e lo è ancora oggi.

Nella mia personale lista di preferenze sui giochi in cui giocare e/o investire assegno sempre un peso molto alto a due elementi in particolare:

• la presenza di un game play divertente
• la presenza della modalità PvP

Splinterlands ha entrambi questi due elementi ma prima dell'introduzione delle misure anti-bots era più un PvB = Player Vs Bots che un Player Vs Players.

Prima dell'introduzione delle misure anti-bots nel Modern Format giocavo nel Wild Format mentre adesso gioco solo ed esclusivamente nel Modern Format perchè voglio giocare solo contro giocatori reali come me che si divertono a impiegare il loro tempo per giocare le battaglie di gioco.

Per questo motivo sono stato molto contento che:

• il 25 luglio 2023 sono state introdotte le misure anti-bots nel Modern Format
• il 19 settembre 2023 sono stati aggiornati i TOS di Splinterlands con il divieto di utilizzare qualsiasi tipo di automazione (Bots e Battle Helpers) nelle battaglie del Modern Format, dei Tornei e delle Brawls.
  

Sono passati poco più di 2 giorni dall'introduzione del divieto di utlizzare i Battle Helpers nel Modern format e quindi non ho ancora molti dati per valutare possibili effetti positivi sui miei risultati di gioco ma oggi la mia prima sensazione è stata positiva perchè:

• ho giocato 23 battaglie nelle leghe Gold del Modern Format
• ho ottenuto 15 vittorie

Ho ottenuto un win rate del 62.22% che è molto superiore al win rate che ho ottenuto nella stagione precedente (stagione #118) giocando 13 giorni su 15 nelle leghe Gold del Modern Format.

Ripeto che i risultati di gioco che ho ottenuto oggi potrebbero essere il frutto di una serie di vittorie positive dovute alla fortuna ma mi piace pensare che i risultati di gioco che ho ottenuto oggi siano già un primo effetto positivo dell'assenza dei battle helpers o almeno della loro diminuzione.

Introdurre un divieto di utilizzo non equivale ad un ban effettivo che dipenderà dall'efficenza dell'attività di monitoraggio di Splinterlands ma già il fatto che i più famosi battle helpers non sono utilizzati/disponibili è già un importante passo in avanti verso la giusta direzione.

Oggi registro anche un altro risultato positivo relativo al mio guadagno dei token SPS per vittoria.

Infattti se confronto la media di SPS che ho vinto dalle vittorie in battaglia nella stagione precedente con gli SPS che ho vinto oggi ottengo un altro risultato positivo.
Nella stagione 118 ho ottenuto un totale di 401.74 SPS con 150 vittorie in battaglia.
Oggi ho guadagnato 54.31 SPS con 15 battaglie vinte.

Ho guadagnato in media +0.92 SPS per battaglia vinta rispetto ai risultati della stagione precedente.

Quando mancano poco meno di 8 giorni alla fine della stagione 119 sono in lega Gold I con un punteggio di rating di 2728 punti e 24 forzieri Diamond raccolti.

All'inizio della stagione in corso di Splinterlands ho cambiato la mia strategia stagionale.
La mia strategia stagionale attuale è la seguente:
Giocherò prevalentemente nelle leghe Gold e deciderò solo l'ultimo giorno della stagione se avanzare nelle leghe Diamond:

• Se alla fine della stagione entrerò nelle posizioni premiate della leaderboard rimarrò nella lega Gold I.
• Se alla fine della stagione non riuscirò ad entrare nelle posizioni premiate della leaderboard Gold avanzerò nelle leghe Diamond.

Dopo i positivi risultati di gioco che ho ottenuto oggi sono al 50 posto della classifica Gold.

Ho scelto di seguire questa strategia per massimizzare l'accumulo di token SPS che sono uno dei miei obiettivi principali su Splinterlands.

Se avanzo nelle leghe Diamond III e Diamond II ottengo un guadagno medio in token SPS più basso rispetto a quando gioco nella lega Gold I perchè:

• nella lega Gold I ho un SPS boost superiore a 10x
• nella lega Diamond II ho un SPS boost di circa 7x-8x

Il guadagno medio per vittoria è superiore nella lega Gold I rispetto ai guadagni ottenibili con i rating che permettono di giocare nelle leghe Diamond III e Diamond II.
Potrei ottenere un guadango simile alla lega Gold I solo con un rating vicino alla soglia di ingresso della lega Diamond I ma io da quando gioco nel Modern ho raggiunto un rating massimo di 3530 punti e nella lega Diamond I ho ottenuto un win rate molto più basso del win rate che ottengo nella lega Gold I.

Concludo questo post condividendo i miei progressi nel potenziamento della mia collezione di carte Chaos Legion.

Oggi ho deciso di potenziare due mie carte dell'elemento Water:

• Nerissa Tridawn: level 1 -> level 4
• Igor Darkspear: level 3 -> level 4

Nerissa Tridawn è una carta che non uso molto ma nelle battaglie che hanno molti mana disponibili e la ruleset Wands Out è sempre una valida scelta perchè ha molti punti vita e un attacco magico di:

• 3 punti (dal livello 1 al livello 3)
• 4 punti (dal livello 3 al livello 5)
• 5 punti (livello 6)

Per l'upgrade di Nerissa Tridawn (level 1 -> level 4) ho acquistato 11 BCX perchè nella mia collezione avevo 9 BCX.

Per acquistare 11 BCX ho utilizzato Monstermarket.
Ho speso 9817.32 DEC ma ho ricevuto anche un cashback.

Oggi ho deciso di potenziare anche Igor Darkspear: level 3 -> level 4.

Igor Darkspear quando raggiunge il livello 4 acquisisce l'abilità Stun che è un'abilità particolarmente utile nelle battaglie che hanno la regola di battaglia Heavy Hitters.
Inoltre è una carta che ha un costo in mana di soli due punti ed è una valida alternativa nelle battaglie che hanno le ruleset Little league e Going to Distance.

Ho trovato molta differenza tra il prezzo low buy e il prezzo low buy per BCX e per questo motivo ho effettuato un'offerta di acquisto per 10 BCX su Peakmonsters

Io continuo a pormi obiettivi di crescita su Splinterlands, continuo ad aumentare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte e aspetto con molta eccitazione l'inizio della fase 1.5 delle lands e le versioni completamente giocabili di Genesis League Soccer e Soulkeep che espanderanno l'ecosistema di Splinterlands
