Hive is my favorite blockchain project and Hive games occupy an important part of the time I spend on Hive.
Blockchian based games are one of my passions but I have a personal grading scale for Hive games: in first place are Player Vs Player games such as Splinterlands, in second place are farming games such as Dcrops and Hashkings and in third place are idle/incremental idle/mining games.

Among NFT-based farming games dCrops is among my favorites if not the favorite and today I am sharing my gaming activity on dCrops.

dCrops is a farming play to earn game developed and built on the Hive blockchain and I have been a dCrops player for more than two years because I started playing during May 2021.

On dCrops, the fall season has recently ended and the winter season has begun, which will end in 14 days and 3 hours.

No new features were introduced during the fall season although reading the chat in the general channel of the dCrops discord server I read an interesting answer from the creator of the game which you can read in the following screenshot.

The next dCrops event may be very close, and I have so far always loved dCrops events and am curious to see if my strategy of not selling crops during the seasons before the events begin will continue to give me satisfaction this time as well.

The most recent and interesting new features remain those introduced in the spring season:

• the Farmers Market
• allocation of 2.25x Crop Power for CROP tokens placed in the Diesel Pool CROP:SWAP.HIVE

I have not yet tried to use these two new features.

My Fall Report and my early winter operativeness

In order to check my progress on dCrops season after season, I have gotten into the habit at the beginning of each season of noting down four pieces of information:

• My Account Value
• My Inventory Total Shares Value
• My total CROP tokens in my wallets (in-game wallet and Hive Engine wallet).
• My CROP Power

By comparing the final values with the initial values I can have a concise and compact view of the status of my investment in dCrops.

In the following table you can see the results I got in the autumn season.

Today I record only positive results:

• my NFT collection keeps its market value almost the same as the previous season increasing it by +0.16%
• my inventory increases the number of crops and consequently also increases the value in shares points which increases by +6.79%
• I add 34.87 CROP to the amount of CROP tokens in my possession
• my CROP Power increases by +0.45%.

The large difference in seasonal percentage increase between my Shares points (+6.39%) and the amount of CROP tokens (-0.03%) is the effect of my event-oriented strategy because in all seasons leading up to the start of the next event organized by dCrops:

• I will only sell crops to complete quests until the start of the next event
• I will sell all other crops only during the next event so that I will get an initial advantage = more points to use in the Event Shop.

Completing quests has now become a constant habit for me, what changes from season to season is the number of rerolls I have to perform in order to have completeable quests but so far performing the rerolls has always cost less than the value of the seasonal rewards I have found inside the chests.

In the following image you can see the seasonal quests I completed during the fall season.

Today I made the fall quests rewards claim and in the following image you can see what I found inside the 14 chests I opened.

I am very pleased with the rewards I found today because I found 1 NFT Iron Ore which is the resource type NFT that has the highest market value in this moment: 7 SWAP.HIVE.

The total value of the 2 resource-type NFTs I found is 7.8 HIVE = $2.30

With the introduction of the Farmers Market, I can also assign an estimated value to the item Salt (3 stars) I found in the chests I opened today: 83 CROP = 0.3812 SWAP.HIVE

In the following image you can see the 7 new quests that I must complete before the end of the winter season if I want to receive 14 more chests.

If you are a new player always remember:

• **to Claim Rewards before clicking on Get New Quests.
• to claim the new quests before planting the seeds for the new season because otherwise you may have a lot of difficulty completing the quests ;)

With the seasonal quests I received today I was quite unlucky because I received 3 out of 7 quests that I cannot complete because I have no Napa Cabbage seeds in my collection of NFTs = 2 quests that cannot be completed and I only have 2 3-star quality Gingers in my inventory while the second quest asks me to sell 3 3-star quality Gingers.

I then have to use the Reroll feature and spend a minimum of 30 CROP if I am lucky with the Rerolls.

Unfortunately I was very unlucky with the Rerolls because to have all quests completed during the winter season I ran 9 Rerolls and spent 80 CROP.

Even though I spent 80 CROPs, using the Reroll feature is a positive expected result operation because to date I have never received a seasonal reward of less than $1 and 80 CROPs have a value of 0.36 HIVE which is a little more than $0.10.

The next step in managing seasonal quests is the Planting operation executable from the Farm section of dCrops.

In the following image you can see all the seeds that I can plant in the fall season.

I used 1 speed-grow booster and 1 fertile-plus booster in my Fairy Garden legendary land to speed up the production of my seeds that have the Keeps producing till season ends ability and to increase the probability of harvesting higher quality crops.

In the following image you can see all seeds I planted today.

Before concluding this post I want to make a resolution for the current season.
So far I have only ever played the Farming game mode of dCrops but there are other game modes as well and I will try to start evaluating the other game modes starting with analyzing and evaluating the possibilities offered by the Construction and Workshop sections which are the first step to being able to play in the Crafting and Cooking modes.

I conclude this post of mine with a small focus on the difference in value of the CROP token that I recorded over a 14-day time interval (September 19, 2023-October 3, 2023).

Over a time interval of 14 days (Sept. 19, 2023 - Oct. 3, 2023) the CROP token registers a small increase in value:

• +0.70% compared to the dollar value it had 14 days ago (Highest Bid Market Value)
• +2.22% compared to the dollar value it had 14 days ago (Lowest Ask Market Value)

The HIVE token also shows an increase in value in a 14-day time frame: +2.42%

Hive è il mio progetto blockchain preferito e gli Hive games occupano una parte importante del tempo che trascorro su Hive.
I giochi basati su blockchian sono una delle mie passioni ma ho una personale scala di valutazione per gli Hive games: al primo posto ci sono i giochi Player Vs Player come ad esempio Splinterlands, al secondo posto ci sono i giochi di farming come ad esempio Dcrops e Hashkings e al terzo posto ci sono gli idle/incremental idle/mining games.

dCrops è un gioco di farming play to earn sviluppato e costruito sulla blockchain di Hive e io sono un giocatore di dCrops da più di due anni perchè ho iniziato a giocare durante il mese di maggio 2021.

Su dCrops è da poco terminata la stagione autunnale ed è iniziata la stagione invernale che terminerà tra 14 giorni e 3 ore.

Durante la stagione autunnale non sono state introdotte novità anche se leggendo la chat nel canale general del server discord di dCrops ho letto una risposta interessante della creatrice del gioco che puoi leggere nello screenshot seguente.

Il prossimo evento di dCrops potrebbe essere molto vicino e io fino ad oggi ho sempre amato gli eventi di dCrops e sono curioso di vedere se anche questa volta la mia strategia di non vendere i crops durante le stagioni prima dell'inizio degli eventi continuerà a darmi soddisfazioni.

Le novità più recenti e interessanti rimangono quelle introdotte nella stagione primaverile:

• il Farmers Market
• assegnazione di 2.25x Crop Power per i token CROP immessi nella Diesel Pool CROP:SWAP.HIVE

Non ho ancora provato a utilizzare queste due nuove funzionalità.

Il mio Report autunnale e la mia operatività di inizio inverno

Per controllare i miei progressi su dCrops stagione dopo stagione ho preso l'abitudine ad ogni inizio di stagione di annotarmi quattro informazioni:

• My Account Value
• My Inventory Total Shares Value
• My total CROP tokens in my wallets (in-game wallet and Hive Engine wallet)
• My CROP Power

Dal confronto tra i valori finali e i valori iniziali posso averre una visione sintetica e compatta dello stato del mio investimento su dCrops.

Nel prospetto seguente puoi vedere i risultati che ho ottenuto nella stagione autunnale.

Oggi registro solo risultati positivi:

• la mia collezione di NFT mantiene quasi uguale il suo valore di mercato rispetto alla stagioen precedente aumentandolo del +0.16%
• il mio inventario aumenta il numero di crops e di conseguenza aumenta anche il valore in punti shares che cresce del +6.79%
• aggiungo 34.87 CROP al quantitativo di token CROP in mio possesso
• il mio CROP Power cresce del +0.45%

La grande differenza di incremento percentuale stagionale tra i miei punti Shares (+6.39%) e il quantitativo di CROP tokens (-0.03%) è l'effetto della mia strategia event-oriented perchè in tutte le stagioni che precederanno l'inizio del prossimo evento organizzato da dCrops:

• venderò solo i crops per completare le quests fino all'inizio del prossimo evento
• venderò tutti gli altri crops solo durante il prossimo evento in modo da ottenere un vantaggio iniziale = un numero maggiore di punti da utilizzare nell'Event Shop.

Completare le quests è ormai diventata una costante abitudine per me, quello che cambia da stagione a stagione è il numero di rerolls che devo effettuare per avere quests completabili ma fino ad ora eseguire i rerolls ha avuto sempre un costo inferiore al valore delle ricompense stagionali che ho trovato all'interno dei forzieri.

Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere le quests stagionali che ho completato durante la stagione autunnale.

Oggi ho fatto il claim delle ricompense delle quests autunnali e nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere cosa ho trovato all'interno dei 14 forzieri che ho aperto.

Sono molto soddisfatto delle ricompense che ho trovato oggi perchè ho trovato 1 NFT Iron Ore che è l'NFT di tipo resource che ha il valore di mercato più alto in questo momento: 7 SWAP.HIVE.

Il valore totale dei 2 NFT di tipo resource che ho trovato è di 7.8 HIVE = 2.30$

Con l'introduzione del Farmers Market posso assegnare un valore stimato anche all'item Salt (3 stelle) che ho trovato nei forzieri che ho aperto oggi: 83 CROP = 0.3812 SWAP.HIVE

Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere le 7 nuove quests che devo completare prima della fine della stagione invernale se voglio ricevere altri 14 forzieri.

Se sei un nuovo giocatore ricordati sempre:

• di fare il Claim delle Rewards prima di cliccare su Get New Quests
• di richiedere le nuove quests prima di piantare i semi per la nuova stagione perchè altrimenti potresti avere molte difficoltà a completare le quests ;)

Con le quests stagionali che ho ricevuto oggi sono stato abbastanza sfortunato perchè ho ricevuto 3 quests su 7 che non posso completare perchè non ho semi Napa Cabbage nella mia collezione di NFTs = 2 quests non completabili e ho solo 2 Ginger di qualità 3 stelle nel mio inventario mentre la seconda quest mi chiede di vendere 3 Ginger di qualità 3 stelle.

Devo quindi utilizzare la funzionalità Reroll e spendere un minimo di 30 CROP se sono fortunato con i Rerolls.

Purtroppo sono stato molto sfortunato con i Rerolls perchè per avere tutte quests completabili durante la stagione invernale ho eseguito 9 Rerolls e ho speso 80 CROP.

Anche se ho speso 80 CROP utilizzare la funzionalità Reroll è un'operazione a risultato atteso positivo perchè fino ad oggi non ho mai ricevuto una ricompensa stagionale inferiore a 1 dollaro e 80 CROP hanno un valore di 0.36 HIVE che è un valore di poco superiore a 0.10$.

Il passo successivo alla gestione delle quests stagionali è l'operazione di Planting eseguibile dalla sezione Farm di dCrops.

Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere tutti i semi che posso piantare nella stagione autunnale.

Ho utilizzato 1 booster speed-grow e 1 booster fertile-plus in una mia land leggendaria Fairy Garden per velocizzare la produzione dei miei semi che hanno l'abilità Keeps producing till season ends e per aumentare la probabilità di raccogliere crops di qualità maggiore.

Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere tutti i semi che ho piantato oggi.

Prima di concludere questo post voglio fare un proposito per la stagione in corso.
Fino ad ora ho sempre giocato solo alla modalità di gioco Farming di dCrops ma ci sono anche altre modalità di gioco e cercherò di iniziare a valutare le altre modalità di gioco iniziando dall'analisi e dalla valutazione delle possibilità che offrono le sezioni Construction e Workshop che sono il primo passo per poter giocare nelle modalità Crafting e Cooking.

Concludo questo mio post con un piccolo focus sulla differenza di valore del token CROP che ho registrato in un intervallo di tempo di 14 giorni (19 settembre 2023 - 3 ottobre 2023).

In un intervallo di tempo di 14 giorni (19 settembre 2023 - 3 ottobre 2023) il token CROP registra un piccolo aumento di valore:

• +0.70% rispetto al valore in dollari che aveva 14 giorni fa (Highest Bid Market Value)
• +2.22% rispetto al valore in dollari che aveva 14 giorni fa (Lowest Ask Market Value)

Anche il token HIVE registra un aumento di valore in un intevallo di tempo di 14 giorni: +2.42%
