Land Phase 1.5 Start on November 28 + My Rebellion Buying Strategy (Update) + My Modern Format Season 122
In a time interval of 20 days there will be two important events in the Splinterverse:
- on November 28, Phase 1.5 of the Lands will begin.
- on December 5, 2023 the new Rebellion card set will be released and Rebellion cards can be used in Wild Format and Modern Format while Untamed cards will come out of Modern Format and can only be used in Wild Format.
The 1.5 phase of lands will begin on November 28, 2023
The start of Phase 1.5 of Splinterlands Lands has been postponed from November 14, 2023 to November 28, 2023.
The reasons for this date change were explained in the Splinterlands Town Square November 13th, 2023! post and also in the official-announcements channel of the Splinterlands Discord server.
The start of phase 1.5 will start the staking of DEC tokens and the use of worker cards in land plots to produce resources, and because of this DEC tokens and cards that have a high Production Point attribute relative to their cost will gain a new use case and may even increase their market value.
If you have land plots you may find useful the spreadsheet dedicated to lands made by @flauwy. You can find the link to this spreadsheet in the pinned messages of the land-expansion channel of the Splinterlands discord server.

My Rebellion Buying Strategy (Update)
The Rebellion Presale is almost at its end because there are just over 2 days to go.
Of the 500K Rebellion packs available for purchase there are 142.6K Rebellion packs left.
All Rebellion packs not sold during the presale will be burned and you will not be able to purchase Rebellion packs from the Splinterlands Shop until the General Sale begins on December 5, 2023.
I enjoy playing Splinterlands battles and for this reason I am very interested in the cards of the Rebellion set and in particular I am very interested in the Dual Element Summoners cards that will introduce a new strategic element in-game (= + fun) and should also be a contrasting element for bots in the Wild Format.
To date, I have purchased 30 Rebellion packs from Hive Engine/TribalDex because I found prices that I considered advantageous.
My goal is to purchase at least 50 Rebellion packs before the general sale begins.
When the general sale starts I will open my Rebellion packs and evaluate whether to buy more packs, and I will also evaluate whether to buy the cards I like best directly from the market.
With the beginning of the general sale it will be interesting to try the new airdrop mechanism of legendary cards of the Rebellion set which will be very different from the mechanisms of the previous card airdrops because it will not be important the number of packs purchased but it will be important the number of packs and cards purchased and not sold staked in special slots that will be purchasable with VOUCHER tokens.
The new card airdrops mechanism will be an incentive not to sell Rebellion packs and cards.
The strategy of buying Rebellion packs that I have decided to follow so far is to buy Rebellion packs from the market only if I find a price below $3.
Compared to 5 days ago (when I calculated the dollar price of a Rebellion pack) the value of DEC tokens has slightly decreased while the value of VOUCHER tokens has increased.
In the table below you can see the current market values of HIVE, VOUCHER and DEC tokens (November 15, 2023).
Today, Nov. 15, 2023, based on today's market values and according to the different purchase options the cost of a Rebellion pack is:
- 4000 DEC + 5 VOUCHERS = $3.9852 if purchased from the Shop at Splinterlands
- 8.19 SWAP.HIVE = 3.0221$ if purchased on Hive Engine/Tribaldex
The cost difference between the two best purchase options has decreased since the calculation I shared in my previous post and is now $0.9631.
My 30 Rebellion packs I purchased at the Lowest Ask value while today I chose to make a BID purchase offer to try to purchase 10 Rebellion Packs at a purchase cost of less than $3.
If my purchase offer is accepted by some seller I will have purchased 10 Rebellion packs at a price of $2.88 per pack.
My 122 season in Modern Format: Results and Considerations
Today November 15, 2023 marked the end of season number 122 of Splinterlands.
For me it was a very positive season because:
- I improved my game results compared to the previous season
- increased the total value of my game rewards compared to the previous season .
In season 122 I played from start to finish in the Gold Leagues of the Modern Format.
I finished the season at place 127 in the Gold rankings with a rating = 2651.
Compared with the previous season, I improved my win rate by +4.57%.
I am very happy that the total number of SPS tokens I got as rewards from my battle victories has increased.
In season 122, I earned 709.33 SPS from the battles I won, and this achievement is my personal season record.
In season 122 I also obtained more Gold chests and also a seasonal reward with a higher total dollar value than in season 121.
In season 121 I opened 160 Gold chests -> total value: $12.36
In season 122 I opened 186 Gold chests -> total value: $14.19
The goal for season 123 is to continue to improve my game results and also my rewards.
However, I need to improve my strategic choices but I especially need to avoid losing so many battles due to time running out because I often play a battle and at the same time do two-three other things at the same time. I am a multitasking sick person :) LOL

During season 122, I made progress in accumulating and upgrading soulbound cards:
- Common Regular: 46% -> 49%
- Common Gold: 14% -> 15%
- Rare Regular: 38% -> 41%
- Rare Gold: 16% -> 19%
- Epic Regular: 27% -> 29%
- Epic Gold: 3% -> 6%
- Legendary Regular: 11% -> 14%
- Legendary Gold: 10%
The Soulbound cards that I like the most are principally the legendary cards but I have not yet been able to take any of them to the highest level.
With the soulbound cards I found during season 122, I was able to make some upgrades:
- DRYBONE BARBARIAN: level 7 -> level 8
- COASTAL SENTRY: level 7 -> level 8
- RIVERBOAT CAPTAIN: level 5 -> level 6
I continue to set growth goals on Splinterlands, hope that bots will be eliminated completely from Splinterlands, continue to increase the battle strength of my collection of usable cards in the Modern Format where there are no bots, and look forward with much excitement to the start of the general sale of the Rebellion set, phase 1.5 of lands, and the fully playable versions of Genesis League Soccer and Soulkeep that will expand the Splinterlands ecosystem

- il 28 novembre inizierà la fase 1.5 delle Lands
- il 5 dicembre 2023 il nuovo set di carte Rebellion sarà rilasciato e le carte Rebellion potranno essere utilizzate nel Wild Format e nel Modern Format mentre le carte Untamed usciranno dal Modern Format e potranno essere utilizzate solo nel Wild Format.
La fase 1.5 delle lands inizierà il 28 novembre 2023
L'inizio della fase 1.5 delle Lands di Splinterlands è stato posticipato dal 14 novembre 2023 al 28 novembre 2023.
Le motivazioni di questo cambiamento di data sono state spiegate nel Splinterlands Town Square November 13th, 2023! post e anche nel canale official-annunciements del server Discord di Splinterlands.
L'inizio della fase 1.5 darà il via allo staking dei token DEC e all'utilizzo delle worker cards nei land plots per produrre le risorse e per questo motivo i token DEC e le carte che hanno un attributo Production Point alto in rapporto al loro costo acquisiranno un nuovo caso d'uso e potrebbero anche aumentare il loro valore di mercato.

My Rebellion Buying Strategy (Update)
La Rebellion Presale è quasi giunta al termine perchè mancano poco più di 2 giorni alla fine.
Dei 500K Rebellion packs disponibili all'acquisto sono rimasti 142.6K Rebellion packs.
Tutti i Rebellion Packs non venduti durante la presale saranno bruciati e non sarà possibile acquistare i pacchi Rebellion dallo Shop di Splinterlands fino all'inizio della General Sale che inizierà il 5 dicembre 2023.
Mi piace giocare le battaglie di Splinterlands e per questo motivo sono molto interessato alle carte del set Rebellion e in particolare sono molto interessato alle carte Dual Element Summoners che introdurranno un elemento strategico in-game (= + divertimento) e dovrebbero anche rappresentare un elemento di contrasto per i bots nel Wild Format.
Fino ad oggi ho acquistato 30 Rebellion packs da Hive Engine/TribalDex perchè ho trovato dei prezzi che ho considerato vantaggiosi.
Il mio obiettivo è di acquistare almeno 50 Rebellion packs prima dell'inizio della general sale.
Quando inizierà la general sale aprirò i miei pacchi Rebellion e valuterò se acquistarne altri pacchi e valuterò anche se acquistare le carte che mi piaceranno di più direttamente dal mercato.
Con l'inizio della general sale sarà interessante provare il nuovo meccanismo di airdrop delle carte leggendarie del set Rebellion che sarà molto diverso dai meccanismi dei precedenti card airdrops perchè non sarà importante il numero dei pacchi acquistati ma sarà importante il numero dei packs e delle carte acquistati e non venduti messi in staking in appositi slots che saranno acquistabili con i token VOUCHER.
Il nuovo meccanismo di card airdrops sarà un incentivo a non vendere i pacchi e le carte Rebellion.
La strategia di acquisto dei pacchi Rebellion che ho deciso di seguire fino ad oggi è di acquistare i pacchi Rebellion dal mercato in fasi successive e solo se trovo un prezzo inferiore a 3$.
Rispetto a 5 giorni fa (data in cui ho calcolato il prezzo in dollari di un Rebellion pack) il valore dei token DEC è leggermente diminuito mentre il valore dei token VOUCHER è aumentato.
Nella tabella seguente puoi vedere i valori di mercato attuali dei token HIVE, VOUCHER e DEC (15 novembre 2023).
Oggi 15 novembre 2023, in base ai valori di mercato odierni e in base alle diverse opzioni di acquisto il costo di un pacco Rebellion è di:
- 4000 DEC + 5 VOUCHER = 3.9852$ se acquistato dallo Shop di Splinterlands
- 8.19 SWAP.HIVE = 3.0221$ se acquistato su Hive Engine/Tribaldex
La differenza di costo tra le due migliori opzioni di acquisto è diminuita rispetto al calcolo che ho condiviso nel mio precedente post e oggi è di 0.9631$.
I miei 30 pacchi Rebellion li ho acquistati al valore Lowest Ask mentre oggi ho scelto di fare un'offerta di acquisto BID per provare ad acquistare 10 Rebellion Packs ad un costo di acquisto inferiore a 3$.
Se la mia offerta di acquisto sarà accettata da qualche venditore avrò acquistato 10 pacchi Rebellion ad un prezzo di 2.88$ per pacco.
La mia stagione 122 nel Modern Format: Risultati e Considerazioni
Oggi 15 novembre 2023 è terminata la stagione numero 122 di Splinterlands.
Per me è stata una stagione molto positiva perchè:
- ho migliorato i miei risultati di gioco rispetto alla stagione precedente
- è aumentato il valore totale delle mie ricompense di gioco.
Nella stagione 122 ho giocato dall'inizio alla fine nelle leghe Gold del Modern Format.
Ho terminato la stagione al posto 127 della classifica Gold con un punteggio di rating = 2651.
Rispetto alla stagione precedente ho migliorato il mio win rate del +4.57%.
Sono molto contento che è aumentato il totale dei token SPS che ho ottenuto come ricompensa dalle mie vittorie in battaglia.
Nella stagione 122 ho guadagnato 709.33 SPS dalle battaglie vinte e questo risultato è il mio record personale stagionale.
Nella stagione 122 ho ottenuto anche un maggior numero di forzieri Gold e anche una ricompensa stagionale di un valore totale in dollari superiore alla stagione 121.
Nella stagione 121 ho aperto 160 forzieri Gold -> total value: 12.36$
Nella stagione 122 ho aperto 186 forzieri Gold -> total value: 14.19$
L'obiettivo per la stagione 123 è di continuare a migliorare i miei risultati di gioco e anche le mie ricompense.
Devo migliorare le mie scelte strategiche ma devo soprattuto evitare di perdere tante battaglie a causa del tempo scaduto perchè spesso gioco una battaglia e nello stesso tempo faccio altre due-tre cose in contemporanea. Sono un malato del multitasking :) LOL

Sono contento di aver trovato 2 carte leggendarie Soulbound (Terraceous Hulk (2 BCX) e Usut (2 BCX).
Durante la stagione 122 ho fatto dei passi in avanti nell'accumulo e potenziamento delle carte soulbound:
- Common Regular: 46% -> 49%
- Common Gold: 14% -> 15%
- Rare Regular: 38% -> 41%

Le carte Soulbound che mi piacciono di più sono principalmente le carte leggendarie ma non sono riuscito ancora a portare nessuna al massimo livello.
Con le carte soulbound che ho trovato durante la stagione 122 sono riuscito a fare alcuni upgrades:

Io continuo a pormi obiettivi di crescita su Splinterlands, spero che i bots siano eliminati completamente da Splinterlands, continuo ad aumentare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte utilizzabile nel Modern Format dove non ci sono i bots e aspetto con molta eccitazione l'inizio della general sale del set Rebellion, la fase 1.5 delle lands e le versioni completamente giocabili di Genesis League Soccer e Soulkeep che espanderanno l'ecosistema di Splinterlands
