I am a Splinterlands player since October 2019 and after almost four years since my first game battle Splinterlands is still my favorite blockchain game because it is the most complete and structured blockchain-based game I have played so far.

I have always enjoyed playing Splinterlands but since the introduction of anti-bots measures in the Mondern Format ranked battles my enjoyment has increased and so has my desire to play and increase the battle strength of my card collection.

I have always considered Splinterlands' choice to tolerate bots to be highly counterproductive and have shared in detail my opinions and thoughts on bots in two of my previous posts which you will find at the following two links and which I will continue to share at every useful opportunity to raise awareness of the bots issue among Splinterlands players with the hope that anti-bots measures may be introduced in the future in Wild Format Ranked battles as well.

To increase the battle strength of my card collection, I often like to choose cards to buy or level based on a specific ruleset.

In my previous post I shared my purchase/upgrade goals related to the Dragon and Neutral element cards that can be used in Modern Format battles that have the Little League ruleset.

My short term goal is to build myself a highly competitive deck in Modern Format ranked battles and today I continue in the same vein as my previous post and share my purchase goals/upgrades with a focus on the Little League ruleset but today I will focus only on the Fire element cards.

When in a Splinterlands battle the rule to be followed is Little League only cards that have a cost in mana of 4 points or less can be used.

The Little League rule narrows the range of cards that can be used, and this restriction is even more pronounced in Modern Format ranked battles.

Fire element cards can only be summoned by summoners of the Fire, Dragon and Neutral elements.

Fire element cards can be used:

• in combination only with cards of the Neutral element if summoned by a summoner of the Fire or Neutral element
• in combination with cards of the Neutral element and the Dragon element if summoned by a summoner of the Dragon element.

My choice of fire element purchase targets is therefore influenced:

• By the summoner and monster cards of the Dragon and Neutral elements that I have in my collection because for example if I have a Neutral element card with similar but better stats than a Fire element card I will always prefer to buy or level the Neutral element card unless the purchase price of the Neutral card is much higher than a card of another element.

I have 5 summoners in my collection that have a mana cost of 4 mana or less that I can use in battles with ruleset little league.

The summoners I use the most, however, are only 2:

• Tarsa of level 8 (Max level).
• Quix the Devious level 4 (Max level).

I also use Brighton Bloom of level 5 but only when the ruleset is Earthquake

On Bringhton Bloom I have long running offers to buy but they have not yet been accepted and I will have to consider in the coming days whether to increase them.

The other two summoners (Pyre and Kretch Tallevor) are too low level for the Diamond leagues I play in so I should upgrade them first but for now I have other higher priority goals.

In the image below you can see all the Fire element monster cards (Untamed and Chaos Legion edition) that I have in my collection that I can use in battles with the Little League ruleset (Modern Format).

In the following image you can see all the monster cards of the Neutral element that I have in my collection that I can use in combination with monster cards of the fire element in battles with the Little League (Modern Format) ruleset.

The cards I use most when the ruleset is little league are:

• Antoid Platoon and Xenith Monk (possible and always good choices for first position).
• Venator Kinjo (in second position especially if the ruleset is Explosive Weaponery)
• Uraeus (various positions depending on rulesets)
• Venari Spellsmith, Spirit Hoarder, Serpentine Spy, Flame Monkey, Parastic Growht, Scavo Hireling, Elven Mystic (mostly in middle positions)
• Xenith Archer, Lava Spider, Halfling Alchemist (mostly in the last two positions).

The first card I decided to upgrade today is Venari Heatsmith: level 9 -> level 10 (max level).

I chose to upgrade a card that I have never used until now in Little League battles.
In my opinion Venari Heatsmith is a not very useful card in battles with the little league rule in the Gold- leagues of the Modern Format but it can become very useful from level 10 in battles in the Diamond+ leagues because it acquires the Thorns ability.

For example in a battle that has Little League + Super Sneak rulesets Venari Heatsmith can become very useful if used in last position in combination with a card with the Repair ability, a card with the Amplify ability and a card with the Triage ability.

In my collection I have Venari Heatsmith of level 9 (=300 BCX) + 64 BCX.

To upgrade to the maximum level I only need to buy 36 BCX and spend a total of $0.359 = $0.10 per BCX

When the cost per BCX is relatively high I prefer to bid to get possible savings but when the cost per BCX and the total cost of the upgrade is relatively low I prefer to buy the BCX I need to upgrade right away.

To purchase 36 BCX from Venari Heatsmith, I used the Market section of Monstermarket: https://monstermarket.io/

I spent 428.96 DEC but also received a cashback of 10.29 DEC.

It was a really low-cost upgrade that nonetheless allowed me to add more strategic choices to my fire element card collection.

The second card I decided to upgrade is Lava Spider: level 4 -> level 10

This was also a relatively low-cost upgrade because I had 3 Lava Spider level 4 (=90 BCX) + 41 BCX = 131 BCX in my collection.

Also Lava Spider is a card that I have used very little so far but in the transition from level 4 to level 10 it acquires +1 speed point, +2 life point and + the Poison skill and becomes a good possible choice for the last positions not only in battles with the Little League ruleset but also in battles that have the Going To Distance ruleset.

To upgrade to the maximum level I have to buy 269 BCX and spend a total of $4,289 = $0.016 per BCX

Again, I chose to purchase 269 BCX from Monstermarket right away.

I conclude this post with the last upgrades goal I achieved today: Xenith Monk level 8.

In order to bring Xenith Monk to the maximum level, three days ago I had made bids through the Make Bid feature of Peakmonsters.

Through the Make Bid feature I purchased 31 BCX of the 40 BCX I needed.

Today I decided to immediately purchase the 9 BCX that I needed to complete my upgrade goal.

I spent 3605.54 DEC and received a cashback of 86.53 DEC.

Thanks to this last completed ugprade goal, I added another card that will be useful to me especially in battles that have the Little League battle rule.

After upgrading the Neutral, Dragon and Fire cards that can be used in battles with the Little Ligue ruleset I will move on to upgrading the cards of the other elements but that will be the topic of my next post.

L'Ottimizzazione della mia Collezione di Carte: Focus sulle carte dell'elemento Fuoco utilizzabili nelle battaglie con la regola Little League

Sono un giocatore di Splinterlands dal mese di ottobre del 2019 e dopo quasi quattro anni dalla mia prima battaglia di gioco Splinterlands è ancora il mio gioco blockchain preferito perchè è il gioco basato su blockchain più completo e strutturato a cui ho giocato fino ad ora.

Mi sono sempre divertito a giocare su Splinterlands ma da quando sono state introdotte le misure anti-bots nelle ranked battles del Mondern Format il mio divertimento è aumentato ed è aumentata anche la mia voglia di giocare e di aumentare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte.

Ho sempre considerato altamente controproducente la scelta di Splinterlands di tollerare i bots e ho condiviso in dettaglio le mie opinioni e le mie considerazioni sui bots in due miei precedenti post che trovi ai due links seguenti e che continuerò a condividere in ogni occasione utile per sensibilizzare i giocatori di Splinterlands sull'argomento bots con la speranza che le misure anti-bots possano essere introdotte in futuro anche nelle Ranked battles del Wild Format.

Per aumentare la forza in battaglia della mia collezione di carte mi piace spesso scegliere le carte da acquistare o da livellare in base ad una precisa ruleset.

Nel mio precedente post ho condiviso i miei obiettivi di acquisto/upgrade relativi alle carte degli elementi Dragone e Neutrale utilizzabili nelle battaglie del Modern Format che hanno la ruleset Little League.

Il mio obiettivo di breve termine è costruirmi un deck altamente competitivo nelle ranked battles del Modern Format e oggi continuo sulla stessa linea del mio precedente post e condivido i miei obiettivi di acquisto/upgrades con particolare attenzione alla ruleset Little League ma oggi mi focalizzerò solo sulle carte dell'elemento Fuoco.

Quando in una battaglia di Splinterlands la regola da rispettare è Little League possono essere utilizzate solo le carte che hanno un costo in mana uguale o inferiore a 4 punti.

La regola Little League restringe il ventaglio di carte utilizzabili e questa restrizione è ancora più marcata nelle battaglie classificate del Modern Format.

Le carte dell'elemento Fuoco possono essere evocate solo dagli evocatori degli elementi Fuoco, Dragone e Neutrale.
Le carte dell'elemento Fuoco possono essere utilizzate:

• in combinazione solo con le carte dell'elemento Neutrale se evocate da un summoner dell'elemento fuoco o neutrale
• in combinazione con le carte dell'elemento Neutrale e dell'elemento Dragone se evocate da un summoner dell'elemento Dragone.

La scelta dei miei obiettivi di acquisto dell'elemento fuoco è quindi influenzata:

• dalle carte evocatore e mostro degli elementi Dragone e Neutrale che ho nella mia collezione perchè ad esempio se ho una carta dell'elemento neutrale con statistiche simili ma migliori di una carta dell'elemento fuoco preferirò sempre acquistare o livellare la carta dell'elemento neutrale a meno che il prezzo di acquisto della carta neutrale è molto più alto rispetto ad una carta di un altro elemento.

Nella mia collezione ho 5 evocatori che hanno un costo in mana uguale o minore a 4 mana che posso utilizzare nelle battaglie con la ruleset little league.

Gli evocatori che uso di più sono però solo 2:

• Tarsa di livello 8 (Max level)
• Quix the Devious di livello 4 (Max level)

Uso anche Brighton Bloom di livello 5 ma solo quando la ruleset è Earthquake

Su Bringhton Bloom ho delle offerte di acquisto in corso da molto tempo che però non sono state ancora accettate e dovrò valutare nei prossimi giorni se aumentarle.

Gli altri due evocatori (Pyre e Kretch Tallevor) hanno un livello troppo basso per le leghe Diamond in cui gioco e per questo motivo dovrei prima potenziarli ma per il momento ho altri obiettivi di priorità più alta.

Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere tutte le carte mostro dell'elemento Fuoco (edizione Untamed e Chaos Legion) che ho nella mia collezione che posso utilizzare nelle battaglie con la ruleset Little League (Modern Format).

Nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere tutte le carte mostro dell'elemento Neutrale che ho nella mia collezione che posso utilizzare in combinazione con le carte mostro dell'elemento fuoco nelle battaglie con la ruleset Little League (Modern Format).

Le carte che uso di più quando la ruleset è little league sono:

• Antoid Platoon e Xenith Monk (possibili e sempre valide scelte per la prima posizione)
• Venator Kinjo (in seconda posizione soprattutto se la ruleset è Explosive Weaponery)
• Uraeus (varie posizioni in base alle rulesets)
• Venari Spellsmith, Spirit Hoarder, Serpentine Spy, Flame Monkey, Parastic Growht, Scavo Hireling, Elven Mystic (prevalentemente nelle posizioni centrali)
• Xenith Archer, Lava Spider, Halfling Alchemist (quasi sempre nelle ultime due posizioni).

La prima carta che ho deciso di potenziare oggi è Venari Heatsmith: livello 9 -> livello 10 (max level)

Ho scelto di potenziare una carta che non ho mai utilizzato fino ad ora nelle battaglie Little League.
Secondo me Venari Heatsmith è una carta poco utile nelle battaglie con la regola little league nelle leghe Gold- del Modern Format ma può diventare molto utile a partire dal livello 10 nelle battaglie nelle leghe Diamond+ perchè acquisisce l'abilità Thorns.

Ad esempio in una battaglia che ha le rulesets Little League + Super Sneak Venari Heatsmith può diventare molto utile se utilizzata in ultima posizione in combinazione con una carta con l'abilità Repair, una carta con l'abilità Amplify e una carta con l'abilità Triage.

Nella mia collezione ho Venari Heatsmith di livello 9 (=300 BCX) + 64 BCX.

Per fare l'upgrade al livello massimo devo acquistare solo 36 BCX e spendere in totale 0.359$ = 0.10$ per BCX

Quando il costo per BCX è relativamente alto preferisco fare offerte di acquisto per ottenere un possibile risparmio ma quando il costo per BCE e il costo totale dell'upgrade è relativamente basso preferisco acquistare subito i BCX che mi servono per fare l'upgrade.

E' stato un upgrade dal costo davvero basso che però mi ha permesso di aggiungere più scelte strategiche alla mia collezione di carte dell'elemento fuoco.

Anche Lava Spider è una carta che ho usato poco fino ad ora ma nel passaggio dal livello 4 al livello 10 acquisisce +1 punto velocità, +2 punto vita e + l'abilità Poison e diventa una buona possibile scelta per le ultime posizioni non solo in battaglie con la ruleset Little League ma anche in battaglie che hanno la ruleset Going To Distance.

Per fare l'upgrade al livello massimo devo acquistare 269 BCX e spendere in totale 4.289$ = 0.016$ per BCX

Anche in questo caso ho scelto di acquistare subito 269 BCX da Monstermarket.

Concludo questo post con l'ultimo obiettivo di upgrades che ho raggiunto oggi: Xenith Monk livello 8.

Per portare Xenith Monk al livello massimo, tre giorni fa avevo fatto delle offerte di acquisto tramite la funzionalità Make Bid di Peakmonsters.

Tramite la funzionalità Make Bid ho acquistato 31 BCX dei 40 BCX che mi servivano.

Oggi ho deciso di acquistare subito i 9 BCX che mi servivano per completare il mio obiettivo di upgrade.

Grazie a quest'ultimo obiettivo di ugprade completato ho aggiunto un'altra carta che mi sarà utile in particolare nelle battaglie che hanno la regola di battaglia Little League.

Dopo il potenziamento delle carte Neutrali, Dragone e Fuoco utilizzabili nelle battaglie con la ruleset Little Ligue passerò al potenziamento delle carte degli altri elementi ma questo sarà l'argomento del mio prossimo post.
