One of the most highly awaited implementations by all Splinterlands players, myself included, is the release of phase 1.5 of lands that will kick off resource (grain) production and add a new layer to the game dynamics present on Splinterlands.

The date for the start of lands phase 1.5 has not yet been announced, but this event is probably very close, which is why I decided to publish a post today to share some information and some of my thoughts about the start of this important phase of the game and development with a focus on Worker Cards, Production Points and the lands plot type.

When lands phase 1.5 begins there will potentially be 150000 plots that can start producing resources but only those that meet precise requirements will be able to do so.

The resource production of each plot will be affected by several factors such as:

• the rarity of the plot
• the type of the plot
• the edition and level of the cards used as worker cards
• the amount of DEC put into staking per worker cards.

The Phase 1.5 lands release will involve two Splinterlands assets in particular:

• the cards
• the DEC tokens

In fact, cards and DEC tokens will acquire a new use case and will be indispensable for lands resource production.

Each Land Plot will have 5 slots in which it will be possible to staking Splinterlands cards that will perform the function of worker cards (1 card per slot).
Without worker cards a plot will not produce resources.
Only owned cards will be able to be staked.
The unstaking operation will require a waiting time of 3 days.

Each staked card in a plot will have a Basic Production Points (PP) attribute that will indicate the capacity of the card to generate PP per hour when staked in a plot.
PP generation per hour will increase as the rarity of the card and its level (total BCXs) increases.

The edition of the card will affect the multiplier of the Base PP.

The land type of the plot will give a bonus or malus to the Base PP.

When phase 1.5 begins, you will not need to do all the calculations because you can easily check the total PP value of each card before staking it as explained by Splinterlands in the Production Points section of the Whitepaper

I have 3 land plots of common rarity:

• 1 Forest
• 1 Hills
• 1 Plains

In my plot with the Forest land, I will be better off putting 5 cards of the LIFE element or the EARTH element to work in order to have +10% of production bonus.

In my plot with the Hills terrain I will be better off putting 5 cards of the LIFE element or the DRAGON element to work in order to have +10% production bonus.

In my plot with the Plains terrain I will be better off putting 5 cards of the LIFE element or the DRAGON element to work in order to have +10% production bonus.

So when lands phase 1.5 starts I will preferably need cards of the Life, Earth and Dragon elements to have an additional 10% bonus PP.

Obviously if the total PP of a card of another element is higher than the total PP +10% of a card of the elements Life, Earth and Dragon I will be better off using that card as a worker card.

The Peakmonsters site with its useful search filters is a useful tool for identifying cards in my collection that have the higher PP attribute.

For example, in the following image you can see the cards of the Life, Earth and Dragon elements that I have in my collection that have the highest PP attribute.

Peakmonsters: MyCards -> Click on PP column -> filter selection -> elements: Life + Earth + Dragon

The card I have in my collection that has the highest PP attribute is Daria Dragonscale: PP = 6250.

I like to play Splinterlands against real players and not against bots and for this reason I play in the Modern Format where Daria Dragonscale cannot be used in battle.

For this reason Daria Dragonscale is currently my first candidate to be used in one of my two plots with the Hills or Plains terrain.

For example, if I use Daria Dragonscale as a worker card in my Hills plot I will get a **total PP = 6250 PP + BONUS 10% = 6875 PP

For example, if I use Daria Dragonscale as a worker cards in my Forest plot I will get a much smaller total PP = 6250 PP - MALUS 50% = 3125 PP

If you want to quickly calculate the total PP of one of your cards based on the terrain of your plot you can use Peakmonsters' Land Calc and also know the resource production (grain/hr) of your Card + Plot combination.

For example, the combination Daria Dragonscale (level max) + Hills plot will allow me to get 68.85 grains per hour.

To achieve this grain production I will also have to stake 10K DEC otherwise I will have a reduction in PP resulting in a reduction in grain production.

For example, if I only stake 5K DEC instead of 10K DEC for a top level card I will get 50% resource production instead of 100%.

If you want to view cards for sale on the market that have the BEST PP/COST RATIO you need to:

• go to the BUY section of Peakmonsters (https://peakmonsters.com/market)
• click on VIEW MODE = COMPARE
• choose Compare by Best PP/COST RATIO

My strategy before the start of land phase 1.5 will be:

• I will hold my 15 cards that have the **highest total PP and that I do not use in ranked battles.
• I will sell the cards that have lower PP than the top 15 cards and that I do not use in battles and that have low value in the rental market.
• With the income I get from selling the cards I will either buy more BCX of the cards in my top 15 or buy cards that have a higher total PP.

In my next post I will show the results of my strategy which I hope will be positive.

With the start of Lands phase 1.5, the demand for DEC tokens should increase and also the demand for the cards.

Will their market value also increase?

Will this be the good time for the DEC token to reach its peg?

Splinterlands Lands Fase 1.5: Focus sulle Worker Cards, sui Punti Produzione e sui terreni

Una delle implementazioni più attese da tutti i giocatori di Splinterlands, me compreso, è il rilascio della fase 1.5 delle lands che darà il via alla produzione di risorse (grano) e aggiungerà un nuovo livello alle dinamiche di gioco presenti su Splinterlands.

Non è stata ancora annunciata la data dell'inizio della fase 1.5 delle lands ma questo evento è probabilmente molto vicino e per questo motivo oggi ho deciso di pubblicare un post per condividere alcune informazioni e alcune mie considerazioni sull'inizio di questa importante fase di gioco e di sviluppo con un focus sulle Worker Cards, sui Production Points e sulla tipologia dei terreni delle lands.

Quando la fase 1.5 delle lands inizierà ci saranno potenzialmente 150000 plots che potranno iniziare a produrre le risorse ma solo quelli che soddisferanno precisi requisiti potranno farlo.

La produzione delle risorse di ogni plot sarà influenzata da diversi fattori come:

• la rarità del plot
• la tipologia del terreno
• l'edizione e il livello delle carte utilizzate come worker cards
• la quantità di DEC messa in staking per ogni worker cards.

Il rilascio della fase 1.5 delle lands coinvolgerà in particolare due assets di Splinterlands:

• le carte
• i token DEC

Infatti le carte e i token DEC acquisiranno un nuovo caso d'uso e saranno indispensabili per la produzione di risorse delle lands.

Ogni plot avrà 5 slot in cui sarà possibile mettere in staking le carte di Splinterlands che svolgeranno la funzione di worker cards (1 carta per slot).
Senza worker cards un plot non produrrà risorse.
Aolo le carte di proprietà potranno essere messe in staking.
L'operazione di unstaking richiederà un tempo di attesa di 3 giorni.

Ogni carta in stake in un plot avrà un attributo Production Points (PP) di base che indicherà la capacità della carta di generare PP per ora se messa in stake in un plot.
La generazione di PP per ora crescerà con l'aumentare della rarità della carta e del suo livello (BCXs).

L'edizione della carta influenzerà il moltiplicatore del Base PP.

Quando la fase 1.5 inizierà non sarà necessario fare tutti i calcoli perchè sarà possibile verificare con facilità il valore totale del PP di ogni carta prima di metterla in stake come spiegato da Splinterlands nella sezione Production Points del Whitepaper

Io ho 3 land plot di rarità comune:

• 1 Forest
• 1 Hills
• 1 Plains

Nel mio plot con il terreno Forest mi converrà mettere a lavorare 5 carte dell'elemento LIFE o dell'elemento EARTH per poter avere +10% di production bonus.

Nel mio plot con il terreno Hills mi converrà mettere a lavorare 5 carte dell'elemento LIFE o dell'elemento DRAGON per poter avere +10% di production bonus.

Nel mio plot con il terreno Plains mi converrà mettere a lavorare 5 carte dell'elemento LIFE o dell'elemento DRAGON per poter avere +10% di production bonus.

Quando la fase 1.5 delle lands inizierà io avrò bisogno preferibilmente di carte degli elementi Life, Earth e Dragon per avere un aggiuntivo PP bonus del 10%.

Ovviamente se il PP totale di una carta di un'altro elemento è superiore del PP totale +10% di una carta degli elementi Life, Earth e Dragon mi converrà usare quella carta come worker card.

Il sito Peakmonsters con i suoi utili filtri di ricerca è un utile strumento per individuare le carte della mia collezione che hanno l'attributo PP maggiore.

Ad esempio nell'immagine seguente puoi vedere le carte degli elementi Life, Earth e Dragon che ho nella mia collezione che hanno l'attributo PP più alto.

Peakmonsters: MyCards -> Click su colonna PP -> selezione filtri -> elements: Life + Earth + Dragon

La carta che ho nella mia collezione che ha l'attributo PP più alto è Daria Dragonscale: PP = 6250.

Mi piace giocare a Splinterlands contro i giocatori reali e non contro i bots e per questo motivo gioco nel Modern Format dove Daria Dragonscale non può essere utilizzata in battaglia.

Per questo motivo Daria Dragonscale è al momento la mia prima candidata per essere utilizzata in uno dei due mie plots con il terreno Hills o Plains.

Se ad esempio utilizzerò Daria Dragonscale come una worker cards nel mio plot Hills otterrò un PP totale = 6250 PP + BONUS 10% = 6875 PP

Se ad esempio utilizzerò Daria Dragonscale come una worker cards nel mio plot Forest otterrò un PP totale molto più piccolo = 6250 PP - MALUS 50% = 3125 PP

Se vuoi calcolare velocemente il PP totale di una tua carta in base al terreno del tuo plot puoi utilizzare il Land Calc di Peakmonsters e conoscere anche la produzione di risorse (grain/hr) della tua combinazione Carta + Plot.

Ad esempio la combinazione Daria Dragonscale (level max) + Hills plot mi permetterà di ottenere 68.85 grain per ora.

Per ottenere questa produzione di grano dovrò anche mettere in stake 10K DEC altrimenti avrò una riduzione del PP con una conseguente riduzione della produzione di grano.

Se ad esempio metterò in stake solo 5K DEC invece di 10K DEC per una carta di massimo livello otterrò una produzione di risorse del 50% invece del 100%.

Se vuoi visualizzare le carte in vendita sul mercato che hanno il Best PP/COST RATIO devi:

• andare nella sezione BUY di Peakmonsters (https://peakmonsters.com/market)
• cliccare su VIEW MODE = COMPARE
• scegliere Compare by Best PP/COST RATIO

La mia strategia prima dell'inizio della fase 1.5 delle land sarà:

• Manterrò le mie 15 carte che hanno il PP totale più alto e che non utilizzo nelle ranked battles.
• Venderò le carte che hanno un PP più basso delle top 15 carte e che non utilizzo in battaglia e che hanno un valore nel mercato del noleggio basso.
• Con il ricavato che otterrò dalla vendita delle carte acquisterò altri BCX delle carte nella mia top 15 oppure acquisterò carte che hanno un PP totale più alto.

Nel mio prossimo post mostrerò i risultati della mia strategia che spero saranno positivi.

Con l'inizio della fase 1.5 delle Lands dovrebbe aumentare la richiesta dei token DEC e anche la richiesta delle carte.

Aumenterà anche il loro valore di mercato?
