I have in the past won a chilli challenge where you needed to eat the hottest chilli to win a prize. Lucky, beer helped numb my senses at the time. I no longer have this skill sadly, but still like spicy food though, just not mouth burning spicy. 🔥🔥🔥

Not really unique but I am managing transformation on various accounting processes including accounts payable, receivable and even reporting functions like RTR. These days learning about generative AI to enhance productivity and improve efficiency.

Probably not that unique, but a lot of people are surprised how patient I am. So I guess it's worth it to mention here :)

Maybe I can say that's my pros and cons at the same time... 🤔
My brain can work fast to think about something (problem solver) and calculate, but on the other side, I'm a forgetful person and my logic of thinking can't be comprehended by others of some viewpoint (So far I just found 2 people who understand 80% of my brain).

I don't know if this is a skill, but I am fairly adept at planning and finding the best prices for flights and hotels for my frequent travels. :)

It's hard for anyone to be able to do anything unique given the sheer billions of people in this world 😜, but what I can do better than most people around me is the ability to shut out all noise to just go into a deep sleep. When I'm asleep... I AM DEAD ASLEEP.
I want that!!! I'm quite the opposite of that... I need total silence to be able to sleep and envy people who can sleep in the car, train, bus, plane, park, bench, beach... I listed all the places where I caught my wife falling asleep... 😂

I'm not sure if this qualifies as a unique skill, but I'll share it as it's what comes to mind at the moment, and it's something I've been told I possess to a significant degree.
I have a heightened sense of spatial awareness, particularly noticeable when I'm engaged in activities like basketball. This skill enables me to better comprehend the game, anticipate player positions, and, as a result, make plays for my team or intercept passes more effectively 😁

Haha I hope this doesn't count as bragging.. But I think I am pretty good with numbers. Mathematics has always been my best subject in school and I studied Statistics as my major for my undergraduate. It has helped me a lot when try to analyse numbers from day to day stuff like shopping or even looking the financial markets. Cheers!

If you check a freelancing website as I did in the past you discover the skills you are proud of are not really unique at all and many have them. So nah, I don't have any unique, not even rare skills.
Don't be that harsh with yourself... I suppose that Achim thought more about "specific" skill that makes you different... And to be honest, what I see in these youngsters these days is that they are all like robots, thinking the same, doing the same, copying/pasting everything...
If he asked me 20 years ago, I'd say programming or something related to that. But that skill has faded away. I guess I can understand language regarding junk debt deals better than the average person, haha!

That's a great skill to have in today's world. I have it to a degree, but sometimes I still fall prey to fake news if I don't bother researching them (and sometimes you have little to research, which is often questionable regarding their truthfulness).

It's a good question and it's quite complex in my opinion kkkk, but if I were to define a single skill, I think it would be the perception of things in the environment I'm in, like looking at details and noticing people's features.
