-Eivors Bestimmung-
Es gab einen triftigen Grund, wieso Eivor zur Seherin musste. Als er die Axt seines Vaters im Langhaus von Kjötvi gefunden hatte, war er für einen kurzen Moment benommen. Plötzlich wurde alles um ihn dunkel und er sah vor sich einen eingehüllten Mann mit einem Wolf neben sich. Der Mann öffnete das Tor hinter sich und lies erst den Wolf passieren, bevor er selbst hindurch schritt.
Seine Mannschaft berichtete, dass er in diesem Moment wie festgewurzelt auf einem Fleck stand und in die leere blickte.

Die Wikinger nennen so ein Ereignis ein "Gesicht", welches immer eine tiefere Bedeutung hat. Jedoch braucht man die Hilfe einer Seherin um so ein Gesicht richtig zu deuten. Nachdem Eivor sich ausreichend vorbereitet hat für den Aufstieg zu Valkas Hütte, holte er sich ein Pferd aus den Stallungen und ritt mit dem Ziel Klarheit zu erhalten, los.

Es war kein ungefährlicher Weg was die Witterung angeht, aber die Pferde aus diesen Ställen waren darauf trainiert hier richtig aufzutreten so, dass es für Eivor ein eher Entspannter Aufstieg war.
Vorallem aber weil der gesamte Landstrich Styrbjörns Klan gehörte, also musste er sich keine sorgen wegen feindlicher Krieger machen. Ein Ausguck an der Äußersten Klippe sorgte auch dafür feindliche Invasionen schnell genug zu entdecken. Eivor passierte diesen Ausblick und sah die Leiterin des Stützpunktes unruhig mit den Armen in der Luft rumfuchteln. Er muss wohl eine Art Syndrom haben, denn er wollte sofort helfen, obwohl es ja eigentlich nicht sein Problem war.

Sie beschwerte sich lautstark über Eyvind, der nicht auf seinem Posten erschienen ist. Eivor kannte die meisten in der Siedlung und wusste auch bei Eyvind bescheid. Es war der sohn von Gunnars Tochter. Die Ausblick-Leiterin drohte bereits mit Verbannung und fluchte wild, da versuchte Eivor sie zu Beruhigen und entgegenzukommen "Wirf noch nicht das Eisen ins Feuer, ich werde mich darum kümmern."
Er konnte ja nicht weit weg gegangen sein und Eivor konnte sich mit Hilfe seines Raben Synin einen wunderbaren Überblick über die Gegend schaffen. Die Verbindung zu seinem Raben war etwas einzigartiges, er konnte sich so gut mit ihm verständigen, dass es fast so schien als würde Eivor durch die Augen des Raben schauen.
Den Pfad weiter folgend erreichte Eivor schon bald Valkas Hütte. Eine sehr eigenartige Hütte, die mit allen möglichen Verzierungen bestückt war, wahrscheinlich um Böse Zauber fern zu halten. Ganz so wie es sich für eine Seherin wohl gehört.

Als er eintrat machte der Eingangsbereich den Eindruck, dass das Haus verlassen sein musste. Alles war dunkel und überall hing Gehölz scheinbar unwillkürlich verteilt von der Decke. er schritt in den Bereich wo Valka sich aufhielt und am Rand saß auch ihre Mutter. Valka schien grade einen Zauberspruch zu sprechen während ihre Mutter vor sich hin Murmelte. Eivor kam kommentarlos hinein und schaute auf Valkas Mutter. "Wilkommen zurück Eivor ich hatte dich erwartet. Sie ist seit einigen Tagen so, sieht Geister. Bald wird ihre letzte Nacht sein" sprach sie ohne sich von ihren Tätigkeiten abzuwenden. "Ich musste dich sehen Valka. ALs ich bei Kjötvis Lager war und die Axt meines Vaters fand hatte ich ein Gesicht" eröffnete Eivor das Gespräch und schilderte detailliert seine Vision. Valka sah ihn an und nickte kurz "Odin will dich auf seinem Pfad wissen, er war es, der dir die Tür Öffnete, der Wolf bist du, denn du wurdest durch den Wolf gebrandmarkt." Eivor verstand nicht ganz, aber das war bei Besuchen hier üblich, Valka fuhr fort "Wir sollten sehen was Odin dir zeigen will, ich habe einen Zauber mit dem wirst du in der Lage dazu sein." Sie begab sich an ihren Mörser und stellte einen Trank für Eivor zusammen "hier, trink das." Reichte sie ihm eine Schale.

Eivor trank davon ohne zu fragen und fiel daraufhin in einen tiefen Schlaf. Er wachte auf und war noch immer in dem selben Raum, zwar verschwommener und benebelter, aber es war noch immer der Raum. Überzeugt, dass es nicht geklappt hatte folgte er der Gestalt die er vor sich aus dem Gebäude laufen sah, davon ausgehend, dass es Valka war.
Die Welt draußen hat sich komplett geändert, er war plötzlich auf einem Berggipfel und der weg war verschwunden. Etwas weiter in der ferne sah er Sigurd, trotz der Dunkelheit war es klar zu erkennen, da direkt bei ihm eine Lampe brannte. Er stand neben einem Wolf und ging weiter sobald Eivor sich näherte.

Eivor folgte ihm und fand sich an einem kleinen Tümpel wieder. An dessen Rand waren drei Weberinnen zu Gange und die Person, die sich jetzt von ihm entfernte war nicht Sigurd sondern der verhüllte Fremde.

Eivor ging weiter und seine Sicht vernebelte sich zunehmend. Er konnte kaum die eigene Hand vor Augen sehen. Plötzlich sah er wieder Sigurd, diesmal hatte er seine rechte Hand abgetrennt und schrie "Es ging nicht anders Havi!" Da wurde er weggezogen, als sei er an einem Gummiband befestigt gewesen, dass jetzt Zug bekam. Im nächsten Moment sah Eivor einen gigantischen Wolfskopf mit roten Augen vor sich.


-Eivor's Destiny-
There was a good reason why Eivor had to go to the Seer. When he found his father's ax in the Kjötvi longhouse, he was momentarily dazed. Suddenly everything around him went dark and he saw a cloaked man in front of him with a wolf next to him. The man opened the gate behind him and let the wolf pass before he walked through himself.
His team reported that at that moment he was standing rooted to one spot and staring into the void.

The Vikings call such an event a "face", which always has a deeper meaning. However, you need the help of a seer to correctly interpret such a face. After Eivor had sufficiently prepared himself for the climb to Valka's hut, he got a horse from the stables and rode off with the aim of gaining clarity.

It wasn't a safe route as far as the weather was concerned, but the horses from these stables were trained to perform properly here, so it was a rather relaxed climb for Eivor.
But especially because the entire area belonged to Styrbjörn's clan, so he didn't have to worry about enemy warriors. A lookout on the Outermost Cliff also ensured that enemy invasions could be detected quickly enough. Eivor passed this view and saw the head of the base waving her arms anxiously in the air. He must have some kind of syndrome because he wanted to help immediately, even though it wasn't actually his problem.

She complained loudly about Eyvind not showing up at his post. Eivor knew most of the people in the settlement and also knew about Eyvind. It was the son of Gunnar's daughter. The lookout leader was already threatening banishment and cursing wildly when Eivor tried to calm her down and accommodate her. "Don't throw the iron into the fire yet, I'll take care of it."
He couldn't have gone far away and Eivor was able to get a wonderful overview of the area with the help of his raven Synin. The connection with his raven was something unique, he could communicate with him so well that it was almost as if Eivor was looking through the raven's eyes.
Continuing along the path, Eivor soon reached Valka's hut. A very strange hut decorated with all sorts of decorations, probably to keep evil magic away. Just as a seer should.

When he entered, the entrance area gave the impression that the house must have been deserted. Everything was dark and trees hung from the ceiling everywhere, seemingly involuntarily. He walked into the area where Valka was and her mother was sitting on the edge. Valka seemed to be casting a spell while her mother muttered to herself. Eivor came in without comment and looked at Valka's mother. "Welcome back Eivor, I was expecting you. She's been like this for a few days, seeing ghosts. Soon it will be her last night," she said without turning away from her activities. "I had to see you Valka. When I was at Kjötvi's camp and found my father's ax I had a face," Eivor opened the conversation and described his vision in detail. Valka looked at him and nodded briefly. "Odin wants you on his path, it was he who opened the door for you, you are the wolf, because you were branded by the wolf." Eivor didn't fully understand, but that was common when visiting here, Valka continued "We should see what Odin wants to show you, I have a spell with which you will be able to do it." She went to her mortar and made a potion for Eivor "here, drink this." She handed him a bowl.

Eivor drank it without asking and then fell into a deep sleep. He woke up and was still in the same room, blurrier and foggy, but it was still the room. Convinced that it hadn't worked, he followed the figure he saw running out of the building in front of him, assuming it was Valka.
The world outside changed completely, he was suddenly on a mountain top and the path disappeared. A little further in the distance he saw Sigurd, despite the darkness it was clear to see because a lamp was burning right next to him. He stood next to a wolf and continued walking as soon as Eivor approached.

Eivor followed him and found himself at a small pool. At its edge there were three weavers working and the person who was now moving away from him was not Sigurd but the veiled stranger.

Eivor continued walking, his vision becoming increasingly blurry. He could barely see his own hand in front of his eyes. Suddenly he saw Sigurd again, this time he had severed his right hand and shouted "There was no other way, Havi!" Then he was pulled away as if he had been attached to a rubber band that was now being pulled. The next moment Eivor saw a gigantic wolf head with red eyes in front of him.
