RE: Why I quit Splinterlands

It does seem that the latest proposal is the death blow to any cards in wild. The use case for them has been completely nerfed.

For a long time, wild cards were supposed to be used on land but that didn't work out that well. Now, why would somebody invest in cards if he knows that a couple of years down the road, these cards will be useless...

People will now fear the new set, because they know what happened to those before. Untamed is the example we have, next will be Chaos later on Rebellion will follow if nothing changes.

Once sets go into wild, there will be hardly any demand for them and prices might collapse.

Yeah, unfortunatly if nothing is done that's the future of the Modern Collections.

There is also a big elephant in the room called Chaos Legion... What they'll do after Chaos drops from modern? Most players have Chaos Deck...

And the fear will remain... What'll happen to rebellion after it drops from modern, right?

Yeah, this is not inspiring people to invest. I dont know if it is just a thing for Splinterlands or all card games.

I've heard that other cards games has this dual format thing, but I didn't search about it to be 100% sure...
