Feathered Friends - Show Me A Photo Contest Round 157
Hello Feathered Friends Lovers,
Welcome to #SMaP Show Me A Photo Contest Round 157
Here we are expecting the migratory birds to arrive with the first spring days. They may come earlier this year. I have already saw the first stork and soon I am sure the flocks will cover the sky. Meanwhile the birds that we see everyday are busy making new homes or fixing the old ones. That was my observation from today and my example shows a crow collecting soft material for the nest.
I don't want to make the challenge hard and I am giving you a Free Theme, but I wish to tell me what your observations are. When you made the photo of the bird, how did you find that bird, did you look for it or did you come across by chance? What the bird was doing, what happened next? Did the bird stay longer for more photos or was off? Were there other birds? These are just few questions to make a short story about your photo/s.
And here are my examples.
The crow was in the grass, I don't know where from the material was gathered but obviously the bird realized that it is about time to bring it to the nest, so I managed the second shot when the crow was taking off.

Thank you very, very much! Greatly appreciated!
Good morning dear friend @nelinoeva
What a great ideal to share what we observe about the bird while we take the shots. I think there are many things we see about birds when photographing them that are not reflected in the photographs.
I take this opportunity to wish you a happy start to the week.
It will be interesting to read about the photos. I am always encouraging the people to share their thoughts.
Good morning dear friend @nelinoeva this is the image and the link of my participation
Have a great day

Thank you @hindavi, I've got at least this one when the crow just took off, the next was not so good and no sharp at all.

What a lovely capture, nice shot indeed.
Thank you, that photo was not planned, it was taken at the right moment, as if taken by a fast camera.
Usually these photos are not planned and that's what makes them so unique.

Lovely! Thank you so much.🙂
Busy start to Spring with nest building for migratory birds, lovely captures with crow in preparation!
I saw a couple of magpies rebuilding an old nest. Sadly the pictures turned blurred when I tried to capture them in flight carrying sticks.
Wednesday I was in the garden with a visitor, hence no camera in my pocket when I saw a yellow-billed kite carrying a snake up still wriggling in it's clasp, first time for everything!
Only bird I know of locally that migrates then returns to same nest to repair is the swallow, I am sure more species do, plenty do borrow another birds nest ready made.
Wow, this must have been a spectacular sight of the kite.
Yup and there I was speaking without my camera, I did point it out to him though!

Hello ma'am @nelinoeva and hivers my entry for this round
Thank you for submitting your entry.🙂
My entry:
Slender-billed oriole (Oriolus tenuirostris) on a banyan tree. Quite recent picture, on March 12.
I was having a walk in a park in Bangkok taking images and "counting species" when this bird suddenly appeared.
I saw this species around a year ago on the same tree, and never before and after.
The banyan's fruits are tiny figs popular among birds, and that's what this oriole came for. Other bird species visit this tree too, some walk on the ground below eating fallen fruits. As for people, they have a Buddhist shrine by this tree - with a large Buddha and decorations.
It was pure luck. The bird "posed" for me for a while and disappeared.
The post about all bird species I saw in this park is here: I Counted 22 Bird Species in a Tiny Park in Bangkok
So glad to see you are back, thank you so much!🙂
I am glad too. 🙂 Thank you!
