Power is one of those songs that we all have in our heads. "I've Got the Power" combined powerful guitar patterns with irresistible rhythms, making it perfect for your dance record wardrobe (if not your closet, of course). The song was a collection of real samples, some of which were taken without permission (including Jocelyn Brown's famous "I've Got Power"). This means that most of the content will need to be rewritten in its final form to avoid legal problems. Nobody seems to care anyway. The Power topped the dance and pop charts, including a number one hit in the UK and a number two hit in the US. It's easy to remember that Will Smith himself rapped about The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air as a joke about it being the most broadcast (and rebroadcast) series of the entire 1990s.

In "Power" (the famous cry "I have power!", by the way, Jocelyn Brown's voice is taken from one of this artist's songs) and subsequent singles ("Ooops Up" and "Mary Had A Little Boy" ) and on the album there were several changes in the band's composition, most evident in the most prominent and popular figures, such as rapper Turbo B, and the variety of female voices that emerged throughout the group. Like other bands of the time (let's go back to the Technotronic example), this band was not born from the vocation of the original band and had no intention of continuing. That's why these groups never stay together for long. Sometimes it is easy to transition members from one member to another. This change can be seen in the video of his first work, "World Power" (1990), the aforementioned single.
