You Pick Topics! .:. Hive Humpday Hangout Special Edition (Wednesday, January 31, 5 PM UTC)
After running the show "only" for 3 months, it is time to make some changes... lol... Maybe it is too soon, but all this is a big experiment for me, and I suppose to many of you too... Before writing this announcement for the show, I checked my first one, back in October 2023, a day before the first show ever, 18.10.2023.! Back then, I had no idea how it would evolve, would anyone attend these shows, would it be useful for participants, etc? Every show requires preparation and when I say that, I don't think only about this announcement post, but about preparing the topic, researching it, preparing notes to talk about, etc. It is a 3-day work... Preparing, executing, editing recorded video, and preparing the recap post...
Sometimes people engage more and talk in the show (it is an "open-stage" show), but sometimes everyone is quiet... So, someone has to talk and I'm not a good talker at all... Believe me, I have no idea how am I doing these shows at all... lol... 😃 Anyway, I came to the idea to do a "freestyle show" occasionally where we can jump through different topics and discuss things that participants want to talk about... If you stayed in some of the previous after-shows, well, the idea is to have something exactly like that, but the whole show!

I discussed this idea in the after-show last week and asked participants what they think about it... We got to a few conclusions... One question was if people mind that shows are recorded and the answer was that the content is valuable and it should be shared in recordings... On the other side, having these recordings available keeps people in the "comfy zone" and they don't want to participate in the "live hangout"...
The final conclusion is that we will have an experimental show tomorrow which will NOT BE RECORDED, so everything that we will discuss will be exclusive information for live participants only! Of course, if some of the participants want to create a post about it, they can freely do it, but I will NOT RECORD the next show... If you want to hear what we gonna talk about, you have to come to the show!
So, there is no specific topic for tomorrow, and anything that you want to bring to the table/panel, you can do it and we will discuss... Will that be:
- something about the new games coming to HIVE
- general crypto markets and "Wen Moon?"
- DeFi platforms on other blockchains and DeFi on HIVE?
- Meme coins and their value
- Hive health check and what can we do better
It could be any of these topics, or it could be something completely different that you want to discuss! Prepare your questions and opinions... And open your mind to new ideas and different perspectives!
How was it the last show? Check it out yourself the Recap of HHHLive post... Don't forget that NOBODY is obligated to talk in the show, so you CAN come to listen and engage with others in the text chat... 😉

- Click on the chat-voice channel on Wednesday, 5 PM UTC (check your local time 👆👆)
- Follow the event-chat channel during the show and engage with others!

It's a good thing you started the show, it has helped to enlighten a lot of people about how things work on the platform and also helped newbies avoid costly mistakes. You should be proud of what you are doing and I hope you will keep the fire burning. It's a pity I may not make it to the live show which will not be recorded, but all the same... I'm surprised that you are a person of little talk, not because you don't look like one, but because you have given yourself the task of creating this show and I always thought you were the life of the party hahaha, but it's part of the passion you feel for Hive, sometimes you do things you can't even imagine.
Well, I'm sure this experimental edition must have been very good, I'll wait for a normal version to see the replay hahaha. Hey, three days of preparation? Wow, congratulations for your discipline 😉
Hehehehe... I hope you will survive one week without the video recording... 😃 I will try to do a short written recap, maybe tomorrow if I have time... But, it was surprisingly interesting as I didn't expect it to be a 1.5-hour show of talking, and helping others on their HIVE journey... I will repeat it for sure! It's much more relaxing as I don't have to stress about preparing the topic(s)... :)
And regarding being introverted, I am sorry for disappointing you... hahahaha... I'm not really a party guy, but I do enjoy good company with close friends... And regarding topics, anything connected to crypto, and I can talk for days...😂
Regarding preparation, it's one day to prepare the announcement post and topics, another day for the show itself, and the "after" day to edit the video, write a recap post, distribute tokens, etc. So, it's not all preparation, but more the "whole" project/idea... :)
I will have to create a separate show with different times that you can join... :)
