| Ola amantes de prata e colecionaveis, No ano de 2016 aqui no Brasil pela primeira vez as olimpiadas foi sediadas na america do sul e e pra comemorar esse grande dia especial o banco central do meu país lançou 17 moedas limitadas em homenagem ao evento e eu vou compartilhar 2 delas que eu tenho e que eu guardo com muito carinho | Hello lovers of silver and collectibles, In 2016 here in Brazil for the first time the Olympics were hosted in South America and to celebrate this great special day the central bank of my country launched 17 limited coins in honor of the event and I will share 2 of them that I have and that I keep with great affection |
| Vinícius (o de amarelo) foi o mascote oficial dos Jogos Olímpicos, e Tom ( o de azul) foi o mascote oficial dos Jogos Paralímpicos de Verão de 2016. Ambos os eventos foram realizados no Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. Os mascotes foram criados pela empresa de animação Birdo, com sede em São Paulo, que foi selecionada por um processo nacional de licitação iniciado em novembro de 2012. O design do Vinícius representa a vida selvagem brasileira, enquanto o design de Tom representa a vida vegetal brasileira. público nomeou os dois mascotes ( por votacao na internet) em homenagem a Vinicius de Moraes e Tom Jobim, os co-escritores da canção de bossa nova de 1962 "Garota de Ipanema". acredito eu que seja a canção mais famosa do Brasil no mundo | Vinícius (the one in yellow) was the official mascot of the Olympic Games, and Tom (the one in blue) was the official mascot of the Paralympic Games Summer 2016. Both events were held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The mascots were created by São Paulo-based animation company Birdo, which was selected through a national bidding process that began in November 2012. Vinícius's design represents Brazilian wildlife, while the de Tom represents Brazilian plant life. The public named the two mascots (by internet vote) in honor of Vinicius de Moraes and Tom Jobim, the co-writers of the 1962 bossa nova song "Garota de Ipanema". I believe it is Brazil's most famous song in the world |
| A moeda abaixo é o vinicius e se vc presta atenção ele é um gato logicamente, mas nao so isso ele lembra um pokemom que eu acredito que todos conheçam o Meowth da equipe rocket e isso concerteza fez com que eu ganhasse mais admiracao pela moeda afinal ate aquele momento ( eu nao tinha nada de pokemon a nao ser albuns de figurinha) mas ter algo com que eu pudesse manusear isso me deixou muito feliz e animado fazendo com que eu tivesse um apego afetivo pela moeda | The coin below is Vinicius and if you pay attention he is logically a cat, but not only that he reminds me of a pokemon that I believe everyone knows Meowth from team rocket and that certainly made me gain more admiration for the coin after all until at that moment (I didn't have anything about Pokemon other than sticker albums) but having something that I could handle made me very happy and excited, making me have an emotional attachment to the coin |

| So para fim de curiosidades o Brasil ganhou 19 medalhas neste edição 1 a mais que na edicao anterior apesar do Brasil nao ter muito destaque nas olimpiadas, mas ta tudo bem, e essa foi minha postagem aqui de da semana, em breve volto aqui pra falar sobre alguma curiosidade de moedas do meu país ou algo que eu goste de outro lugar e isso vejo vc na proxima semana se cuidem! | So for the sake of curiosities, Brazil won 19 medals in this edition, 1 more than in the previous edition despite Brazil not having much prominence in the Olympics, but that's ok, and this was my post for the week, I'll be back here soon to talk about Any curiosity about coins from my country or something I like from another place and I'll see you next week, take care! |

Thank you for the delightful inspiration of the mascots of the 2016 Olympic games in Brazil. Vancouver hosted the 2010 Winter Olympics where I live.

As I said, I went back to check if you had any content in the community, and I found this one. Which I find inspiring because of the story and I actually think the coins are very cute. I'm going to check for more info after reading this, the Paralympics mascotte is best if you ask me :)
