Intent-based systems have revolutionized cross-chain interactions by abstracting the complexities and time constraints associated with traditional bridges. If bridging were an Olympic sport, Across Protocol would undoubtedly clinch the gold medal every time.

Launched in 2021, Across Protocol is a cross-chain bridge optimized for Layer 2 solutions and rollups, secured by UMA's optimistic oracle. It offers a high-speed, low-fee, and secure method for transferring assets across various blockchains.

The core innovation of Across lies in its intent-based framework, which allows users to specify desired outcomes—such as token swaps or DeFi deposits—without detailing the intricate steps to achieve them. This approach streamlines cross-chain interactions and enhances user experience by removing the need to navigate complex bridging mechanisms

What makes it even better is the vibrant community, a place where the rangers are enjoying the power of intents! The community also deserves a gold medal, and this is why we constantly organize amazing events for all Across Rangers! Fantasy Football always been a crowd pleaser.

The 2024-2025 Premier League season brings another twist to the Across competitions, as the points-based superleague was complemented with a new head2head competition. The prize pool is the biggest ever, with 555 $ACX allocated as prize pool.

The Across Superleague was set as a classic league, with the points from each round adding up to the player's tally. This competition had 225 ACX from the pot allocated, with 30 ACX reserved for the winner. The runner-up will win 27 ACX, while the third place will receive 24 ACX.

The initial plan was to reward the top ten places, but the high participation made me spread the prize pool to fifteen managers. There are also small prizes for the two teams that will play the cup final, enough to make it competitive.

If IRL there's a one horse race, with Liverpool sprinting towards glory, the Across Superleague is as open as it was in the first round. Jimbo has taken Japi for a ride, and there's currently one point between them. Tengo is still in reach, and few good rounds could bring Mani and Untouchable back in the race! It's the final countdown!

The first idea was to set prizes in USD-value, but we believe in the perpetual growth of Across! We wanted to make the season more interesting so we set aside 555 $ACX at the start of the Premier League, which is now close to $150 and could get even better by the end of the season!

With two leagues running simultaneous, we split the $ACX pot to cover both. The Head2Head competition was set to have slightly higher prizes, as it requires constant management and more commitment. The league was open until the first game of the Premier League, and only 26 managers made the cut.

The Head2Head needs more involvement, as each round will set players against each other. The one with the best score will win the game and earn three point. If both teams will have the same score, the game will end draw and each manager will receive one point.

Mani had a blast, and adapted better than others to the system. He is currently 12 points clear, while the only dilemma is regarding who will grab the second place! Will it be Japi "The Special One" or the "Untouchable" Untouchable?

As it stands, the prize distribution will cover a wide range of participants! The Superleague will reward the top 15 players, plus the two managers playing the cup final, a decent percentage from the 35 rangers that joined the competition. The Head2Head managers are prioritized, and 15 out of 24 will win some ACX in few weeks.

As it stands, Japi and Mani have big chances to catch the podium on both competitions. Tengo is targeting those places as well, and the next rounds may bring some wild cards into the mix.

There are still chances for those struggling at the bottom of the leaderboard, as the CEC team is ineligible for prizes. This mean that the ACX will be moved to the next player, and the prizes will cascade to the next ones. Having a quick look at both leagues, and I can say for sure that the dual event spread the prize pool efficiently!

I've also created a Champions League group, to play for fun with my frens! However, it's nice to have a little prize pot to make it more competitive. This is why I added 55 ACX for this event, and Infinity matched my donation. The 110 ACX was a bonus, and every manager will get a slice!

Japi "The Special One" started strong, and took a considerable advance since the early rounds. I've never seen someone choosing the captains with more efficiency than him! Maybe is luck... maybe is science!

Casper was a new entry for the 2024-2025 season, and he's run was impressive. The same can be said about Untouchable, who joined half-way through the season! To be honest... everyone did well... and everyone will be tipped ACX after Real Madrid will lift the trophy!
