Glint Bonanza On Splinterlands - The Remarkable Growth Due To Survival Mode Implementation
Splinterlands is a game that’s truly changing the blockchain gaming scene, and I’m all in because it combines strategy with the benefits of decentralization. There's no need to explain if you're playing so I will focus on normies!
This isn’t just another play2earn game... it’s a space where players can actually own their assets on the blockchain. Whether you’re grabbing cards from the shop, unlocking reward chests, or unwrapping packs, the choice is yours to make.
The magic happens on the Hive blockchain, which makes it super easy for players of all levels to jump in. The Splinterlands community is packed with experienced players and crypto pros who share tips and strategies that can seriously level up your game.
There are endless opportunities to get ahead, and in this article, I’ll dive into which method is better for scoring top-tier assets: is it buying cards from the shop, or earning them through reward chests? After grinding in this universe for four years, I feel like I’ve seen it all!
I've enjoyed the growth, the challenges, and everything in between... but never seen such a remarkable growth in my Glint rewards! I "blame" the implementation of the Survival Mode for this!
The Survival Mode in Splinterlands is the pinnacle of PvP and only the strongest will endure! The game continues to dominate the blockchain gaming world, blending deep strategy with the unstoppable force of decentralization. The battlefield just got fiercer!
Survival Mode shakes things up with a card fatigue system and no energy requirement! Every decision matters—once a card is KO’d, it’s benched until revived. Think you can outlast the competition?
You need to think long-term. How many copies do you really need? How deep is your collection? Time to channel your inner whale... or get rekt. But here's a little advice so you don't kill your chances on Wild Mode... disable your top cards from Survival Mode!
My Survival Mode Experience? Pure Carnage. I jumped in and got obliterated in five games! Two summoners and twenty cards gone in a blink. My once-mighty collection? Depleted. Where my Wild dreams rugged? Only a little... but I didn't give up!
I continued fighting in Wild Mode, and maybe the cards I lost in Survival battle made me win less games, but the Glint rewards were massive! I believe the increased rewards are the result of players flocking towards the new mode, leaving more Glint for the weaklings!
The end of the season bounty was at least two times higher than the average, earning 90,000 Glint over the last two weeks. Something was different... something was better... but I am not complaining about it! I embraced the pumped rewards and thought about the spending spree!
This huge bag was unexpected, as the usual rewards at the end of the season were about 20k Glint. That amount was tripled by the Glint that was going straight into my balance, but this time the rewards were insane!
I had enough to buy two legendary cards, and that was exactely what I did. I am so close to complete the set, and this gives me extra motivation. The remaining Glint was used for Epic draws, adding extra cards for a new approach on the Survival Mode.
The units that need few more cards will be upgraded to the new level, while the new ones will be kept separately so I can have a wider spread on games. The plan is to lock the high levels and make them unusable on Survival Mode, using only the spear cards.
I will use the Emberguard and Sergent Grauzral to defend gloriously against better enemies, using strategy over quantity. I will fight until the last card like they defended at the Alamo, using all the tricks of the trade to survive for longer!
All this hustle reminds me about Alamo, event if blockchain gaming may seem worlds apart. However, both revolve around strategy, resilience, and community. Splinterlands players often find themselves up against stronger opponents, but success comes from smart strategies, resilience, and overcoming challenges.
Whether in war or in a game, victory is not just about power but about outthinking your opponents, pushing through setbacks, and building a sense of unity and purpose. It's about ... the Last Stand!
I used this comparation as a transition towards a remarkable win, one that maintained my streak and added more Glint in my bag! The task was simple this time, with 13 mana to choose only casters. Healed Out battle rule made me go for ... Last Stand!
Tarsa: +1 Melee & +1 Health
Ujurak Elder: Caster with Camouflage and Divine Shield
Efreet Elder: Caster with Last Stand
I went for Tarsa to improve the health of my units, and my opponent had the same idea. My team was an OG one, made up of two elders, and the approach was as tactical as a game of chess! The Ujurak camouflage was not needed so I set this old guy in the first position.
The Chaos Evoker is a top enemy, with Blast and Ambush as his main weapons! She removed the Ujurak's Divine Shield before the battle even started, and the attack bounced to the Efreet Elder through the blasting power. Game on!
Chaos and magic everywhere, but all went according to the plan. The Ujurak Elder demise came after two rounds, and the Efreet pumped his muscles when it was the last one standing! His stats gone mental, and the Evoker was doomed! See the full battle here!
