Half Way Through Zingtober - Is Not All About Art But Also About Crypto Bounties
The Zingtober Challenge is the Holozing event prepared for Inktober, with a list of prompts and a big bucket of rewards! There will be an official soulbound Zingtober achievement that will be given out to participants based on activities!
There will be 4 unique achievements a participant can obtain, depending on how many daily prompts were completed. The Holozing team will also be curating through upvotes most entries of participants putting in effort and then after the event allowing participants to claim the achievement for passive zing collection rewards tied to the soulbound NFT!
I dived straight in and created a story that will link to the prompts! You read above the first seven days, as the first chapter of this Holozing inspired saga. There's more to come as the challenge gets harder. I plan to cover all 31 prompts and the best way was to turn it into a story.
Writing one article per day with the prompted art was not difficult! The hard part was to fit the art into the story and maintain the mystery throughout the adventure. Every week I collated the images and segments of the story into bigger chapters to make it easier to read.
However, beyond the hustle for prizes and fun... there's the guaranteed bounties gained each day. Some posts had more success, while others got only few tips. I do believe it was linked to the quality of the art, as those good drawings made the post more rewarding.
Let's dive into a mid-month analysis, and see if there's crypto benefits adding up to the hustle. Must say the zingtober challenge is not that time consuming, and it brings some fun and relaxation in the mix.
Zingtober Day 1 - Backpack (Ready For Adventures) - £1.27
Zingtober Day 2 - Discover (The Secret) - $2.29
Zingtober Day 3 - Boots (And The Rusty Old Gate) - $1.30
Zingtober Day 4 - Tropical (Paradise) - $0.59
Zingtober Day 5 - Binoculars (Brand New World) - $1.46
Zingtober Day 6 - Trek (Alone) - $0.75
Zingtober Day 7 - Passport (Required) - $2.80
Zingtober Day 8 - Hike (For Heaven) - $0.13
Zingtober Day 9 - (Scorching) Sun - $0.89
Zingtober Day 10 - Nomadic (Expectations) - $0.54
Zingtober Day 11 - Snacks (And Dreams) - $2.90
Zingtober Day 12 - Remote (Hut) - $2.40
Zingtober Day 13 - (Looking For The) Horizon - $1.13
Zingtober Day 14 - Roam (And Be Free) - $0.54
Zingtober Day 15 - Guidebook (For Success) - $2.41
There are some big prizes at the end of the month, plus splits to all the participants. Everyone who completes segments of the challenge will receive NFTs that will perpetually $ZING, which makes it even better.
However, take those apart... there was still productive to take part if you consider only the post's rewards. Half month through the event and the 15th posts so far helped me add $21.40 in HIVE tokens. Is it good or bad?
Then Chapter I and Chapter II earned two more dollars worth of $HIVE, and the shares on Hive web3's like InLeo or D.Buzz added $12 more into the pot. Can $35.40 be considered a good crypto bounty by a content creator? It can be if this wasn't a massive brain squeeze that required a lot of time. For me was fun and relaxing, and the $HIVE earned is a bonus.
