Lisk Season One Concluded - What's Expected And Why Season Two Matters?

The Lisk Network is aiming to serve as a platform for decentralized applications, and those special programs designed to run across a network of computers will enhance the blockchain. There's something for everyone!

I dived into it when I've seen the game-change... a massive airdrop campaign with 15,000,000 $LSK tokens up for grabs! The Lisk Season One was hyped by the epic opportunity ... and enjoyed every day of this journey!

I was one of over 170,000 participants who got involved and helped push over 480,000 transactions on the Lisk network. That's some serious power right there! Let's dive in!

Not only I boosted my points with every transaction, but I also enjoyed the Lisk Discovery quests on Layer3. It may bring a $LSK reward as well, or some extra benefits, but it was already a double-dip by earning XP and CUBEs on Layer3. This will add up to a bigger $L3 allocation for their next airdrops!

A snapshot of Lisk of Life NFT holders was also taken and the recalculation of points is still underway! It should take about a week, but there's no clear timeline for it. Nomis is helping out the team identify and ban any fraudulent addresses, so the allocation per participant may grow!

The pay-outs for Season 1 and Lisk of Life will be probably sent out by the end of March! But don’t sleep on it because Season 2 is just around the corner. Mark the 24th of on your calendars. You won't want to miss it!

I started about three weeks late, as the campaign gone under my radar for a while. I've done some basic maths, and excluded any points for transactions but considered the daily claims. I missed 210 points for for the daily task, 150 points for the seven-days streak and 500 for a month of check-ins!

Would a minimum of 760 points help me climb higher in the leaderboard? Probably narrowly into the top #2000 by rank. However, I am happy with the effort and result... and #2192 from over 170k participants is an amazing place!

The total points I gathered throughout the season was 21,667, but may be higher after the recalculations. Nearly a quarter were referral points, and I hope all 23 chads that responded to my call will be treated with a juicy reward!

I am gearing up for the next season, but I am also considering the long term vision! The criteria may change towards loyalty and sustainability, and I am trying to anticipate what will be required!

My first guess is that $LSK stakers will be rewarded with some multipliers, so I went ahead of the curve and staked some more $LSK on top of my existing lock! The second guess is that governance will play a role across season two, and active voters will get a slice of the cake!

I had a small bag of $LSK already locked, and added 58 more! I will top it up again once the airdrop will be distributed, depending on how high will be my allocation. The Life On Lisk is sweet!
