Splinterlands Remarkable Battles - Last Stand With Kelan Gains and Tinderlock

The Splinterlands are shifting once again as we wait for Conclave Arcana to unfold. It's been a fair ride from my noob days as a fresh-faced summoner to clashing swords and spells with legends... and the dynamics will change once again!
As the realms prepare for this magical awakening, players old and new can look forward to an experience that blends arcane wonder with intense competition. But until then... we have battle to win, brawls to attend ... and remarkable stories to tell!
How to get ready for Conclave Arcana? I want to buy packs and be early! I am trying to stack as much DEC as possible and get ready for the presale! I sold some small value assets and I unified the DEC in game. Current stash is 11,176 tokens, and hopefully more to come!
Next thing to take care is my War Wagons that I used in Conflicts! They will be used in Conclave Arcana as well, but they will need to be upgraded! I assume that Vouchers will be needed once again, or maybe just DEC! Time will tell!
Last night felt like stepping into an epic chapter of my Splinterlands journey, one that I am now sharing with you anon! I fought like a true hero, battling my way through intense matches, and each victory pushing me higher up the ranks.
After climbing through the chaos, the moment of unpacking glorious reward chests arrived. I cracked them open one by one, heart pounding, hoping the Splinterlands gods would smile upon me. Potions flowed in first, then came a stack of Merits!
The real fireworks? Two Commander Slade cards dropped straight into my collection like a divine blessing. The tanky legend himself came with double the power and double the flex. With Slade in my arsenal the battlefield feels a little more tilted in my favour.
Getting Slade twice was remarkable but winning battles in Survival Mode is still giving me goosebumps! Usually it's a massacre, but this time was a last stand! The mana pool was generous, set at 45, and I had to think at a strategy that will bring me the win!
I decided to go for a decoy tank, a strong melee behind it and Tinderlock as a last stand OG ranged unit! The Ulundin Overseer was the best choice, granting Reach to Grum Flameblade through the Flank ability!
Kelan Gains is a mighty rare cared, known for his solid melee attack and incredible resilience. He brings strength and balance to mid-range mana battles, making him a dependable frontline or secondary tank, especially in Earth teams that focus on sustain and brute force.
Tinderlock is a fiery explosive Fire unit that was built for aggressive strategies. With his strong ranged attacks and high speed, he thrives in setups where dealing quick and heavy damage is the key.
Drake of Arnak: +1 Armor
Ulundin Overseer: Beefy Tank with Flank
Grum Flameblade: Melee with Void Armor and Bloodlust
Halfling Refugee: Melee with Weary
Kra'ar Xoc: Support with Scavenger
Kelan Gains: Caster with Snipe
Tinderlock: Ranged with Close Range and Last Stand
The odds set me against another dragon summoner, strong tanks, ranged units, and a Goblin Psychic that tried to keep a bulky Mycelic Infantry alive for as long as possible! The main task was to take care of the healer, but the Mycelic Slipspawn was there to taunt the attacks!
It didn't go according to the plan, as the Ulundin Overseer was the first the fall! Tinderlock and Kelan Gains were focusing on the Slipspawn, while Grum was trying to take down the opponent's tank!
With no unit with Taunt, Kelan Gains moved his sneaky attacks towards the healer! The tides of the war were turning in my favour, as the Mycelic Infantry was now without healing support! Let's go!
Grum's flame was extinguished before he could taste bloodlust, and the Halfling Refugee had to take on tanking! This little dude was able to hold the ranks until Kelan got rid of the healer, but couldn't avoid Mitica Headhunter's deadly attack!
Kra'ar Xoc was boosting his health trough scavenging, but the Venari Seedsmith was doing the same. The dragon unit dodged few units, survived few attacks... but his demise came sooner than expected. Kelan had to tank and the Mycelic Infantry was still alive!
It was late into the 6th round when Tinderlock unleashed a powerful strike and finally the enemies where without a tank! Kelan Gains magic was too much to handle for the Supply Runner, but unfortunately so was Mitica's arrows for him! The final twist unleashed!
The... Last... Stand! Tinderlock gone overpowered, with twelve health and five ranged damage! One shot, two shots, three shots... and the Venari's health was down! This looked easy as he one-shotted Mitica to end the fight! See the full battle here!
One thing's for sure... the road ahead is only getting more exciting! More battles, more rewards, more legendary moments, and Conclave Arcana presale starting with a bang! Onwards champion... onwards!
