Splinterlands Remarkable Brawls - New Guild And New Hope

Splinterlands is a dynamic, strategy-driven auto-battler and digital trading card game built on the Hive blockchain. Your goal? Construct the ultimate 7-card deck to outmaneuver opponents in fast-paced, tactical battles.

Today we will dive into Brawls! I want to share remarkable brawls and gladiator cards that can turn the tides of the battle in your favour! Are you looking for a guild? Let me know and I can help you!

Climb the ranks through seasonal play, dominate in brawls, or test your skills in high-stakes events. In brawls, powerful Gladiators enter the fray... some massive guild-based tournaments where teams clash for Crowns, level up their Arena, and claim glory on the battlefield.

Up to 10 guilds of the same Tier are randomly grouped together for each Brawl, and the fights are completed in Wild format. I completed many brawls this year and constantly bought Gladius Cases with the merits.

The overpowered Gladiator cards are soulbound monsters more powerful then normal cards. This cards can be played only in brawls, and can't be traded, delegated, rented, or sold.

Only one Gladiator card can be selected for a battle, but is no limit of the number of Gladius Cases that can be purchased in the Guild Store. I keep earning Merits after each brawl, and sometimes I top up my balance by buying more with Glint!

Currently there's no much hype around the gladiator cards, but hopefully new once will be introduced once Convlave Arcana goes live! Until then... I save all the $DEC to buy the new packs! I hope the 7 I currently have will double... then treble ... then 100x! I keep dreaming!

Engaging in Brawls is the pinnacle of PvP combat in Splinterlands, where teamwork meets individual mastery. The primary goal is to support my guildmates, securing better rewards for all, but let’s be real—there’s nothing quite like proving my own strategic genius on the battlefield.

Every match is a test of skill, adaptability, and deep game knowledge, and each victory is a testament to careful planning and tactical execution. When I step into a Brawl, I channel my inner Alexander the Great, commanding my forces with precision, ambition, and an unyielding hunger for conquest.

I left my old guild, as the engagement was so low that we struggled to fill a handful of frays, and found a better one through a friend! Now I am brawling with the folks from NFG Club - Legion II ... and we aiming for glory!

The journey started with the league ranked close to 1000, and a 6th place at the first brawl I took part. It got better and we soon got a 3rd place after having nine wins in nine games, all this will filling Gold Fray 13th! Vonak!

image.png

The progress is clear, as we recruited more active players and improved our brawl results. A second place followed, even if we had a scrappy performance throughout the event. More merits and more SPS are always welcome!

Playing brawls in Splinterlands offers guild members a chance to earn extra rewards, boost guild reputation, and compete strategically in a collaborative environment.

However, playing brawls offers me extra rewards like merits and SPS, access to exclusive items like Gladiator cards, and a strategic way to contribute to my guild’s success and reputation. The target for May is to lead my mates on the first place!

Like Alexander the Great expanding his empire, I continue to push my limits, leading my forces to glory. Brawls aren’t just another game mode... they’re the ultimate test of skill, and I thrive in the heat of battle!

Let me delight you with this insane brawl, with limited mana and three destructive rules added in the mix. Only 24 mana available to select a competitive team, and a cataclysmic vibe given by Noxious Fumes, Explosive Weaponry and True Aim.

All monsters will hit their targets, deal Blast damage and suffer poisoning ... this is great! My approach was simple... hit more and often! The Drybone Raider was my wild card... and hopefully the one that will bring the victory!

Tarsa: +1 Health & +1 Melee Attack

Venari Marksrat: Ranged with Martyr

Drybone Raider: Melee/Ranged with Double-Strike

Tenyii Striker: Melee with Sneak

Scorch Fiend: Melee decoy

image.png

The Venari Marksrat was set in the first position to die quickly and boost the Drybone Raider through Martyr. From here is simple... double strike and blast to create havoc.

I was facing a strong summoner, with a good mix of units. The Forgotten One will not be affected by the noxious fumes... but will he survive long enough to count?

The Venari died fast, as expected, and the Drybone got stronger. The two strikes took care of the Forgotten One's armor and took down the Xenith Archer.

The Tenyii Striker got rid of the opponent's Scorch Fiend, and then the poisonous cloud came! Everyone suffered, some fell and some survived to fight another round.

image.png

The Forgotten One was laughing at full health, as the beast was ready to strike deep into the Drybone flesh! That heavy strike left my raider at three health, coughing blood and sweating hard from the poisoning.

I just realized that the legendary Venator Kinjo didn't even had a chance to attack. You know what they say... what goes round comes around! Was time for the Drybone to have his moment of glory... and those two strikes made the difference!

Double-Strike that cut deep into the demonic skin, leaving the Forgotten One with... one health. The blast damage took care of the other units, as the Scavo Chemist and the Lava Spider couldn't handle the heat!

image.png

One more brawl for extra vibes? Let me delight you with a minimal fight with weird battle-rules! We started with only 16 mana, no neutral units due to Taking Sides, and divine shield for everyone!

Four's a crowd but that mana cap was anyway low enough to be able to use four units! Also with only Earth and Life splinters available, the selection pool was even lower than expected. Minimal fight like Ikea furniture!

Summoner: Brewmaster Abraxas

Halaran Huntress: Melee with Flying and Charge

Blackmoor Wild Elf: Caster with Amplify and Camouflage

image.png

The enemy was affected even worst, with Prunda Undervesch joining the battle with only a Skyspire Yak. However, this unit is hardcore... with decent life and an extra attack given by the Armored Strike ability.

The Huntress had to hit twice to reduce the armour, and was lucky to be missed by a yak-attack! It looked easy, but it was a fair fight! See the full battle here!

Joining a new guild brought new hope... and new plans! Now I can focus on expanding and upgrading my gladiator cards, while slowly preparing for the big Conclave Arcana pack unwrapping! Let's go battle mage... let's rule the world!
