New year and new dynamics, as 2024 brought a change with the daily claims. The XPortal gamification moved on the blockchain for the benefit of users and the ecosystem. This started generating new transactions and filtered the active addresses inside XPortal.
The new system enhanced user gamification system and will keep fake accounts away. The increased transaction volumes on-chain, nurturing a healthier network and thriving ecosystem. And so it begins...
My NFT collection is growing and I like the style. However, makes me wonder why all the characters are pictured from behind! Is there someone following them and creating weird memories? However... this dilemma didn't stop me to add more NFTs on xPortal. I have several in my collection, mostly from xPortal Acheivments!
I collected several NFTs from quests, received some for voting, and some were randomly sent to my wallet! I am also holding dearly to a streak repair, in case I ever fail or forget the daily claim!
Until then... I keep coming back each day at 11:11 AM, when I set an alarm! Dashed through the days for the first three months, and got a full bag of gifts upon completion. I was rewarded with 9000 XP, one Mystery Box, and Chapter 7 of the story!
What story? The gamification of the daily claims was also turned into a story, and reaching certain milestones will reward the xPortal user with a new NFT that represents a new chapter.
The Portals Of Infinity saga starts on the first day of the streak, when the fresh claim will award the user with Chapter 1: The Awakening! The story continues and gets more interesting as you progress and maintain your streak!
Chapter 1: The Awakening
In a world teetering on the brink of chaos, mysterious portals began to appear across the globe. These portals, glowing with an otherworldly light, sparked curiosity and awe. Those who ventured near them felt a surge of knowledge and power, as if the portals themselves held the secrets of the universe.
The user, an ordinary person with an insatiable curiosity, stumbled upon one such portal and felt an inexplicable pull. As they approached, the portal activated, revealing a holographic map filled with advanced symbols. This was the beginning of their journey.
Chapter 2: First Steps
Emboldened by their discovery, the user decided to explore further. They began locating more portals, each one more fascinating than the last. The first portal they claimed was sleek, glowing structure entwined with vibrant greenery. As they activated it, data and progress indicators lit up, marking their first steps into a larger world. This initial success ignited a sense of adventure and purpose within them
Chapter 3: Gathering Knowledge
Determined to understand the mysteries of the portals, the user sought outa knowledge repository. In a futuristic library, they were surrounded by holographic bookshelves and floating data cubes. Glowing displays provided detailed information about two factions: Mecha, who believed in technological salvation, and Orga, who advocates for harmony within nature. The user absorbed this knowledge, realizing that these factions were vying for control over the portals.
Chapter 4: Allegiance
Armed with the newfound knowledge, the user faced a crucial decision: to join the Mecha, with their vision of a technologically advanced future, or Orga, who sought to restore balance with nature. After much contemplation, the user chose a faction, understanding that their choice would shape the course of their journey. The decision market their allegiance and their commitment to the cause.
Chapter 5: First Encounter
As a newly minted member of their faction, the user was soon trust into action. They encounter an enemy portal and faced their first infiltration mission. With a combination of strategic thinking and the use of advanced gadgets, they managed to breach the portal's defenses. This victory was a significant milestone, showcasing their growing skills and resolve.
Chapter 6: Crafting Mastery
The user's adventures led them to gather various materials and blueprints. In their high-tech workshop, they began crafting powerful items and tools. Each crafted item enhanced their abilities, allowing them to better protect their portals and inflitrate enemy territory. The user become a master craftsman, known for creating rare and powerful artefacts.
Chapter 7: Defender of Portals
With their crafting skills honed, the user turned their attention to defending their faction's portals. They developed strategies and deployed advanced cloaking devices to protect these valuable locations. Their efforts paid off as they successfully repelled numerous enemy attacks, solidifying their reputation as a formidable defender
It took 90 days to reach chapter seven, and the next step was bigger! The next milestone was set at 120 consecutive days, and it felt like an eternity until I was able to read the next part of the story!
Chapter 8: Strategic Alliances
Realizing the importance of teamwork, the user began forming alliances with other players. Together they planned and executed coordinated attacks and defenses, leveraging their collective strength. These strategic alliances proved invaluable, allowing them to tackle challenges that would have been insurmountable alone.
