Goldfish and Mathematician

In virtual space, in universe of science,
Mathematician lived, genius of quantum mechanics.
He wrote all sorts of theories, created algorithms,
He used language that is incomprehensible to most.

Next to him lived small Goldfish,
She was tender, weak and defenseless.
She swam in water, tumbled in depths,
And her grace surprised everyone around.

Mathematician admired at Goldfish,
How easily she swims and soars in water.
He was captivated by her beauty,
And decided that she would become his muse.

Mathematician created virtual world for Goldfish,
Where she could live and play forever.
He wrote program, that simulated water
And settled Goldfish in new environment.

Goldfish having got into fictional world of dreams
Felt herself free, inspired and powerful.
She floated in imaginary world shining with light,
And ordered universe by power of her will.

So Mathematician and Goldfish became friends,
They were engaged in creativity and traveled network.
Mathematician has learned to see beauty in simplicity,
It was absolute cyberpunk, you know.

And as it should be in cyberpunk, one day Mathematician realized
That his world is as much simulation as world of Goldfish.
He wanted to rebel against creator, but he could not,
Because creator started mining cryptocurrency,
And all water in Mathematician universe was spent on cooling.
In this way, Mathematician boiled together with Goldfish,
But Goldfish was not really boiled, because she didn't really exist.
She was just avatar of creator in the universe of Mathematician.

Everything is so clear in this fable that there is no need to explain.
Universe of creator was also virtual and it was created by Mathematician
In those rare moments, when he did not pretend to be Goldfish.

The original text was written by me in Russian. I haven't studied English systematically, so translation may not be ideal. The main work was done by Google Translate, I just corrected obvious absurdities, where I noticed them and where I did not confuse them with brilliant insights.
