Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - Frustrated By Quora Towershead Again!

Time flies! Just completed the 117th brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!

  • Fun In The Discord Chats

Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.

  • Staying In Bronze Fray

For this brawl, I decided to stick to what I fought in the last fray, which was Fray 6, which was 3/2/2/1. I felt I was starting to find my grove and this fray is neither too difficult nor too easy for me.

Had 5 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.

  • We Got 3rd!!!

So for the final result, we were 3rd out of 9 guilds and got 431 Merits and around 15 SPS! That's an incredible amount of SPS!!!

Individually, I had 6 fights this time and I managed to only 3 of them this time! Finished 7th within the guild!

Battle 1 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Katrelba Gobson

Having to face another Quora Towershead again, but this time Katrelba Gobson shone and quickly accumulated the Bloodlust. By then my tank was down, Katrelba Gobson was ready to face Quora Towershead and we stole this win!

Battle 2 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: None

Am quite good with Poison battles and this was another easy win! With Cleanse, Tenyii Striker did all the hard work by clearing the entire team on the other side.

Battle 3 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: None

Argh! I lost by 1 HP this round! My opponent managed to outlast my team thanks to Grum Flameblade's Bloodlust and it was just so so close.

Battle 4 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Palidon Rakk

My opponent didn't field any Flying cards and I fielded 3 for this Earthquake battle. That made the difference and my team had a whole lot of HP more than my opponent. Hard to pinpoint who was the exact MVP in this one because it was a team effort, so it goes to the tank!

Battle 5 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: Isgald Vorst

I initially thought my Water lineup lost due to my own weakness but it turned out it was because my opponent had Quora Towershead. There was really no way getting past her, which is frustrating.
