Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - Ouch! 4 Losses!

Time flies! Just completed the 121st brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!

• Fun In The Discord Chats

Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.

• Staying In Bronze Fray

For this brawl, I decided to stick to what I fought in the last fray, which was Fray 6, which was 3/2/2/1. I felt I was starting to find my grove and this fray is neither too difficult nor too easy for me.

Had 6 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.

• We Got 4th!!

So for the final result, we were 4th out of 9 guilds and got 592 Merits and around 14 SPS! That's an incredible amount of SPS!!!

Individually, I had 6 fights this time and I only managed to win 2 of them this time! Finished a lowly 7th within the guild!

Battle 1 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Relenor Cleaver and Isgald Vorst

This was a very tough battle but Lemell Refugee rose up to the challenge! With the Enraged stats, Lemell Refugee held the front almost all the way, overcoming big cards like the opposing Grum Flameblade and Forgotten One. Amidst all the strong cards and Gladius cards in my lineup, Lemell Refugee

Battle 2 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: None

Back to Basics is clearly not my forte and my team just had no answers to a Magic lineup with 4 Legendary cards. Ok to lose this one.

Battle 3 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: None

Yet another Back to Basics battle, and my strategy just didn't work out in this low mana battle. It's frustrating but I am out of ideas to be honest.

Battle 4 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: Gorth

This brawl just isn't going my way. Gorth is typically strong in these low mana battles but it's just misses after misses after misses...

Battle 5 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: None

This was so painful to watch. My opponent used Headwinds and Quix the Devious to reduce my Ranged damage all the way to 1 for all my cards. It was so painful to watch all my big cards like Countess Sinash being reduced so badly.

Battle 6 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Relenor Cleaver and Isgald Vorst

Fortunately, the last fight in this brawl was an easy one. My opponent made a big mistake of placing the healer beside the Taunt card and with Blast in the ruleset, it was a comfortable win for my hard hitters.

So that sums up my 6 battles for this brawl! A 33% win rate, first time I scored below 50%, so room for improvement in the next one!
