Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - Overcoming Quora Towershead and Marisol Contuma!

Time flies! Just completed the 143rd brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!

  • Fun In The Discord Chats

Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.

  • Moving Back To Bronze Fray

For this brawl, I made the decision to move back to a Bronze level fray, which is where my cards are at. It proved to a good decision but I was back to winning form!

Had 6 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.

  • We Got 4th!!

So for the final result, we were 4th out of 9 guilds and got 592 Merits and around 15 SPS! A whole bag of SPS! And 4th seems to be our default position these days.

Individually, I had 6 fights this time and I won 5 of them this time! Finished 3rd within the guild! Due to change in format, wins are actually awarded to the players present in the fray if guilds decided to skip the fray. For this round, there were 2 additional wins for me.

Let's jump into the battles!

Battle 1 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Katrelba Gobson and Bertrol Gobson

A perfect start to the brawl with a 6-0 win! Both teams weren't too far apart but my team clicked very well together. I had healing, Opportunity, Sneak and my opponent was attacked from all over the place. Once Opportunity hits were very valuable and Bertrol Gobson outshined his sibling here.

Battle 2 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Gorth and Chimney Wallstop

It's funny that my brawl was undone by Marisol Contuma and this time I kinda took my revenge against another Marisol Contuma. Poison helped my team a lot but Chimney Wallstop which carried the team to a win by getting the Bloodlusts.

Battle 3 - WIN

Opponent fled! Yay!

Battle 4 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Sola Ranjell

Sola Ranjell did exceptionally well in this battle, dealing damage and healing the tank at the same time. Eventually, my opponent was unable to overcome the strong defence and fell apart after a few rounds.

Battle 5 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: None

The battle went all wrong as I was terribly blindsided. My Magic damage was neutralised by the opposing the summoner and my backline was left opposed for my opponent's Sneak damage. Partially careless over here.

Battle 6 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Alfredo

My opponent had the dreaded Quora Towershead but my team amazingly coped very well, partially thanks to Thorns. Diemonshark was an awesome tank and Deeplurker's Opportunity hits were instrumental in this battle.
