Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - Winning Battles Without Playing!

Time flies! Just completed the 133rd and 134th brawls with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!

  • Fun In The Discord Chats

Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.

  • Playing Smart

I was on vacation the past week, and usually when I am on break, I won't participating in brawls because I know I won't be able to submit the teams. However, with the NEW FORMAT of the brawls, I realised I should still join a fray and get the free wins!

Tip: So I monitored the timing of the brawl and joined the fray with the least number of participants! In this way, I would be able to maximise the amount of free wins! And it doesn't mean whether I have the cards or not, be it a Silver fray, a Rebellion only fray, or a Gold Foil fray. And the results for the last two brawls were amazing!!!

BRAWL #133

  • We Got 4th!!

So for the final result, we were 4th out of 10 guilds and got 485 Merits and around 12 SPS!

Because of my strategy, I effortlessly claimed 7 free wins. It was a Rebellion only fray and I didn't have much cards so I lost the two battles that I entered. Not bad for someone that is on vacation.

BRAWL #134

  • We Got 3rd!!

So for the final result, we were 3rd out of 9 guilds and got 592 Merits and around 21 SPS! That's a lot this time!

It was even better this time round. Because of my strategy, I effortlessly claimed 8 free wins. It was a Gold Foil Rebellion Fray. I rented a GF Summoner for my only battle and threw in one Gladius card for submission. And my opponent fled! So I won all my battles without really playing at all! HAHA!

Battle 1 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: Palidon Rakk

A brave attempt here but my vacation team couldn't do much because I didn't really have the cards as well. With 7 free wins in the bag, any wins here would be a bonus.

Gladius Card Used: Captain Katie

Ulundin Overseer is ever so useful but two cards simply weren't enough to overcome a full team. Nonetheless it was fun!
