How's everyone doing one month into the claimdrop of ZING?

I thought it's also a good opportunity to do a personal stocktake and see how's the ROI/APR for myself so far.

I have delegated 100 HP to @zingtoken and it has been 35 days since the claimdrop started on 21 Oct. From HP delegation and staking ZING, I have obtained a total of about 321.2 ZING, of which, I have sold 7.5 ZING at around 0.066 Hive. Hence, I am left with about 313.7 ZING. At time of writing, ZING is trading at 0.034 Hive.

So let's put them into a table and see how the figures look like.

On a base of 100 HP, that's about 11% ROI over 35 days. If we were to annualise this figure, which isn't that meaningful (but purely for the purpose of generating an APR number), that's 116% APR. Pretty decent I must say. That said, before you jump into this project, do take some time to read about a post by @acidyo on his thoughts about ZING's price here.

Of course, the numbers will fluctuate wildly, especially with the steady increase in the HP delegation to @zingtoken. As you can see, my rewards has been declining since the start, which is expected given my HP delegation has been constant since the start.

I actually found this table interesting. On one glance, you can see who are the large whales in this project. A lot of big and familiar names there I must say, that's says a lot about the promise of this project. And at time of writing, I am at #445! Will I be in the Top 100 someday? Hehe!

What's next? Like what @tarazkp shared in one of his ZING posts, I am also considering to sell some ZING at current prices with the aim of buying back at a lower price at a later stage. Of course, this entails some judgment and speculation on my part and there is always risk involved. But that's what my gut feeling tells me.
