SBT Is Back - SBTOFFICIAL Is Curating Posts Now!

It's time for another monthly update about the SBT Project, which is one of the projects that I am more heavily involved lately.

For those who are not familiar and are new to this project, SBT is Splinterlands Battle Token. This is a project which @itzninjafool has put a tremendous amount of effort and resources into, and I have been around into the Discord channel for a while and I really enjoy the events and raffles!

The big news this month is recently, they have also started curating posts by the SBT members, based on the amount of HP delegation to @sbtofficial and the various membership tiers. I think the team is at the experimental stage so it's a lot of trial and error, as the account needs to manage the voting mana efficiently and at the same time, be fair to everyone as much as possible. The small upvotes are coming in so that's something good to look forward to!

Of course, we shouldn't forget that recently they have formed a partnership with PEPE! You can read the posts here and here. It's always nice to see some form of partnerships and collaboration between projects. It builds some resilience and increases the base for the followers of both projects. And perhaps this has contributed to the appreciation in the price of SBT over the past weeks.

SBT TOKEN

SBT has traded at much higher levels before, but at time of writing now, you can get 1 million SBT for about 37 to 44 Hive!! One month ago, it was around 33 to 43 Hive. So this month has seen some appreciation of value in Hive. I think most people haven't noticed the resurrection of the project and/or didn't realise the rewards that staking SBT brings!

RAFFLES

Currently, there are 6 raffles daily in the Discord server.

MY WINS

I have more than 1 million SBT staked, so I have 6 chances to win every single day. Since the update a month ago, I have won a few more cards! Since my last monthly update, luck hasn't really been on my side but I have gotten 3 cards anyway! Vampire and Grim Reaper are pretty interesting cards that I don't have so they are nice additions to my card collection. Anyway, all small wins but that's ok, that's how luck and randomness works! Hopefully I can win one of the bigger cards on the wheel someday!

SPLINTERLANDS REWARDS - SPS, DEC, VOUCHER DRIPS

No matter whether one is lucky or unlucky with the raffles, there's always the "guaranteed" rewards! Staking SBT earns you Splinterlands assets such as weekly SPS, DEC and VOUCHER drips. Due to RC constraints, the drips are now done weekly instead of daily, which is reflected in the difference in numbers in the screenshots below.

Fridays are the Drip Days! And with my current staked SBT, my last weekly drip was 84 DEC, 1+ VOUCHER and 7+ SPS! Just by staking SBT! It all adds up!

BTC, ETH and DOGE DRIPS

If you are a crypto fan, you are going to like this too! There's weekly drips for BTC, ETH and DOGE too! Here's what I have accumulated so far, about USD 2.25 as of now (vs USD 1.47 in the last update). It's not a lot as expected in absolute dollars, but compared against the dollar amount of the staked SBT, the ROI is pretty good! And if you think these drips are tasty, you can consider getting some SBT and staking them too!

SUMMING UP

To sum up, for buying and staking SBT, you get a chance at up to 6 daily raffles to win Splinterlands cards and SBT tokens, get weekly drips of SPS, DEC and VOUCHER, as well as BTC, ETH and DOGE! And if you write posts too, you might get an upvote by being a member of the SBT community as well!

I'm becoming more and more of a than of the SBT community. @itzninjafool is a really cool person, we had a lot of fun doing some battling - pretty balanced I'd say. I beat him on my turf (Modern Silver), and he crushed me on his (Diamond Wild Ghost Cards). I got some SBT to support the project, and I'm looking forward to getting more in time :-)

It's interesting reading what people say and whatnot. Thanks for the shoutout! It's been a minute since I have been on peakd. It's good to touch bases once in a while. I'm terrible at it. That's what I love about discord! lol. However, sometimes even then it's a little tricky. I will see a message, go to respond, lose track of what I was doing. And boom! Two years later, realize I was mid-sentence. lol
