SBT Raffles @ Aug 2023 Update - I Won Two Gold Foil Commons! (And Daily Airdrops Too!)

It's time for another update for my experience as a member of the SBT (Splinterlands Battle Token) project and also share about the SBT token. This is a project which @itzninjafool has put a tremendous amount of effort and resources into, and I have been around into the Discord channel for a while and I really enjoy the events and raffles! Kudos to @ivarbjorn for his involvement and helping out with the giveaways and running of the day to day events!

RAFFLES

Currently, there are 6 raffles daily in the Discord server.

In my update last month in Jul 2023:

At time of writing now, 1 million SBT is trading at about 67 Hive!!!

At time of writing now, 1 million SBT is trading around 32 to 49 Hive!!! It has come a long way from 10s and 20s so it's still a very decent price trend! I think that's largely due to the success of the project and the giveaways on Discord.

Well, part of it could be due to the declining price of Hive in the recent weeks, but there was also a major change recently. In addition to the raffles, they have now launched daily SPS, DEC and VOUCHERS payouts based on staked SBT! This means the more SBT you stake, the more rewards you get! You can read about this in this post.

Of course, it's useful to also remind you about this disclaimer that I wrote in the post too.

Of course, do note that these are only based on the latest daily figures and the numbers can change depending on the total SBT staked in the pool. Another point to highlight would be the volatility of the prices of SBT, SPS, DEC and VOUCHERS - their prices can vary significantly from month to month and this might cause the APR to deviate significantly from 26%!

Given the recent price movements, SBT has gone up significantly, so the APR might be lower than 26% already. But as we all know, volatility is the norm and the prices can swing massively between days and weeks.

MY WINS!

In my July 2023 update, I shared that my biggest win was a Thaddius Brood!

Since then, it has been about a month or so, and here are my wins in the past 1 month! As you can see from the table, I have won 6 cards from the raffles and the total USD value of the cards as of today is USD 1.001. A lot of small cards but I guess card prices are also very depressed currently. Still a good set of wins nonetheless.
