THE VILLAGE DIARY:

Our @itharagaian craftsman has used up all his stock of ingredients and made 27 boxes of candles.
These aren't just candles, they're scented, and we'll be using them in the evening at camp, both to light our way and to disguise our scent, which could attract predators, by which I mean the infected from epidemic Z.

All luggage is packed and we take the most useful things with us: weapons, food, drinks, tools, clothes and, very importantly, all the buckets we have.

When we camp near water, we'll fill buckets with water because a fire in our carts would be catastrophic.

Speaking of fire, it was a heartbreaking decision we had to make.
We set fire to the village to attract the infected and cover our retreat under the cover of smoke.
It's better to see it disappear this way than to imagine it overrun and destroyed by the infected.

As we did at the very beginning, we'll rebuild a village in a safer place.

I'll give those who wish our route, which I've drawn on the papers in my pockets, but let's stick together and all should go well.

LE JOURNAL DU VILLAGE:

Notre artisan @itharagaian a utilisé tout son stock d'ingrédients et a fabriqué 27 boites de bougies.
Ce ne sont pas de simples bougies, elles sont parfumées et nous les utiliserons le soir au campement aussi bien pour nous éclairer que pour dissimuler notre odeur qui pourrait attirer les prédateurs, j'entends par là les infectés de l'épidémie Z.

Tous les bagages sont prêts, nous emportons le plus utile, les armes, la nourriture, les boissons, les outils, les vêtements et très important, tous les seaux que nous avons.

Quand nous camperons près de l'eau, nous remplirons des seaux d'eau car un incendie de nos charriots serait catastrophique.

En parlant d'incendie, ça a été une décision déchirante que nous avons dû prendre.
Nous avons mis le feu au village afin d'y attirer les infectés et couvrir notre retraite sous le couvert de la fumée.
Il vaut mieux le voir disparaitre ainsi que l'imaginer envahi et détruit par les infectés.

Comme nous l'avons déjà fait au tout début, nous reconstruirons un village dans un lieu plus sûr.

Je donne à ceux qui le souhaitent notre itinéraire que j'ai dessiné sur les papiers que j'ai dans mes poches, mais restons groupés et tout devrait bien se passer.

Maintenant il est l'heure de partir.
