(RP) As you may have noticed, paper is a recurring theme in the history of Le VILLAGE.

A secondary theme, but an important one.
I've become very attached to the pieces of paper that inevitably end up in my pockets.
I've grown accustomed to their presence, and when I put my hand in my pocket and feel them, I'm reassured.
I even feel they've got used to me too, and sometimes I get the feeling they're trying to communicate, to send me a message.
I've thought long and hard about what that message might be, and I've come to the conclusion that they've had enough of secondary roles and want to be at the center of the story.

So I'm going to honor them and make them the focus of today's contest.

I'm going to ask you to guess how many pieces of paper I'm going to collect tomorrow morning as I go round the VILLAGE.

It could be zero if nobody left any lying around, or a hundred if the villagers decided to play a prank on me, or some number in between - we'll find out tomorrow.
Don't hesitate to take part, it's free and open to all, villagers and visitors alike, regular or occasional.

In the meantime, I'm emptying my pockets of their papers to ensure a fair count.

Un thème secondaire mais qui a toute son importance.
Je me suis beaucoup attaché à ces morceaux de papier qui finissent inévitablement dans mes poches.
Je me suis habitué à leur présence, quand je mets ma main dans ma poche et que je les sens je suis rassuré.
J'ai même l'impression qu'ils se sont habitués à moi eux aussi, et j'ai parfois la sensation qu'ils essayent de communiquer, de m'envoyer un message.
J'ai bien réfléchi à ce que pourrait être ce message et je suis parvenu à la conclusion qu'ils en ont assez des rôles secondaires et qu'ils ont envie d'être au centre de l'histoire.

Soit, je vais donc leur faire honneur et ils seront au centre du concours d'aujourd'hui.

Je vous propose de deviner combien de papiers je vais ramasser demain matin en faisant le tour du VILLAGE.

Ce peut être zéro si personne n'en a laissé trainer, ou une centaine si les villageois ont décidé de me faire une farce, ou un nombre entre les deux, on le saura demain.
