Have you ever tried to translate jokes or humorous texts from a foreign language into your mother tongue? That is very difficult. In short, my English is not good enough to understand jokes in English without problems and to compare them fairly.
However, any non-native German speaker is welcome to participate if they are not afraid to use a translator. I have also offered to watch the meme on Discord beforehand. So that it makes sense in German. !PIZZA

well maybe you could translate like an abbreviated version of the original German post ? be cool if non German speaking people could participate by making memes with English text
There are several meme contests in English on Hive, in which many non-native English speakers also participate. So why shouldn't native English speakers have to make an effort if they want to take part in a German meme contest? They are all welcome! Peace 😁
