I think I'll need to agree with you on this one, too many "bad" games over the last couple of years, looking forward to some excellent new Hive games coming soon (Woo, TD from SPL, Soccer game!)
I'm currently addicted to a little game called KK Heroes (Kingdom Karnage Heroes) You can find on the google app store or iOS testflight.
Great little game, good potential for growth also! The main game (kingdomKarnage) is well worth checking out too, maybe your Lady will like that if she enjoys splinterlands.
