Content? Gaming? Engagement? Web2, Web3? Onboarding?

Good morning buzzers, Happy Thursday! So, I've had some coffee and started doing the rounds. Managed to engage with 2-3 more posts than usual this morning and it got me thinking.

What content do you actually enjoy reading?

Now, I find myself in the sloth.buzz bubble. I'm frequently asked what the niche is for sloth.buzz and to be honest, it's a little hazy even to me. I enjoy most content that gets pushed through there, mainly with the 'niche' of music/art/gaming. Of course, with sloth.buzz being an oxymoron, we love some memes, fun and comedy too! So, what sort of content does slothbuzz like? Whatever makes a sloth buzz! That's a little of everything (except actifit! No fitness for us!). But see, even then, if users were taking the time to engage and get involved with the sloths, (mainly in discord) whilst trying to build their own branding and support circles, we'd probably support that too!

The main goal for sloth.buzz is to support other creators and projects and highlight the best of what Hive has to offer! As we grow and expand we look to onboard users from web2 and bring them into web3! Of course, a lot more work has to be done to make this dream a reality. Currently, we're in the process of rebuilding the sloth.buzz and cryptoradio.fm sites. We want to open more doors to creators and developers. (Upload your music to Crypotradio.fm today and get to ears worldwide!)

What is sloth.Buzz
Cryptoradio.fm path to Q3

I'm actively looking for more projects to get my hands dirty with. I love making content, and having a base idea to write content on is much more exciting to me! Making Game tutorials, whitepapers and guides. It's all part of the fun of learning a new game and sharing it with others. Unfortunately, I missed the buzz with games like @terracore and @golem.overlord. Normally my 'favourite' type of Dapp.

I love the 'idle' miner genre, as a sloth, the fact it's 'idle' makes it scream out to me! Like a female sloth looking for a mate! However, being my main go-to game type, I also know most 'idle' miners are far from idle, they rely on great timekeeping, attacking and claiming at the right times (normally as early as possible). As a sloth, I can be a little tardy when it comes to timings, so I stepped aside on these games! From what I've heard and seen, they're both doing rather well continuing to develop and increase features!

How long can they continue to maintain a good price on the market though? My one suggestion to them, they should have kept an 'in-game' token which wasn't backed by a market, this would have allowed them a lot more freedom to have in-game events without disrupting the prices. Possibly even weekly/monthly rounds with a token reset to balance distribution with dilution.

Other games are slowly breaking through Hive also, @craftink recently launched its booster packs. @wrestorgonline continues to build and grow. @psyber-x recently launched a discord, idle miner. @surgentgaming will soon bring us astralrevelation. @cryptocompany's massive open world will combine many great projects together, as did @muterra's recent sale. So lots to be excited about on Hive for gamers! Of course @splinterlands brings us more games to get excited by also!

I wish them all the best of luck moving forward, and I'd be happy to work as a community manager/copywriter for any of these awesome games as they continue to build and grow within Hive! (We can also link up for some cross-promotion/contests via sloth.buzz, or get you radio ads on cryptoradio.fm! Send me a dm in Discord and let's work something out!)

Ok, as always, easily distracted, hence I prefer having a sole topic to write about! Today was more about engagement, interactions and growing as a figure in Hive.

How can one person keep up with everything that's going on? Each and every week there are numerous new communities, projects and 'tribes' forming in Hive and further afield on crypto. In order to keep your finger on the pulse you really need to keep up with 'crypto Twitter' and Reddit/Minds/Facebook/Insta/Tiktok and/or numerous other socials.

We're expected to share our content with web2 users to help onboard them to web3. However even within web3, here on Hive, we have so many options, should we be using Leothreads, Dbuzz, Liketu, Vimmtv, 3speak or just blogging on Hive via Peakd/Ecency or of course Sloth.buzz!

How can anyone be everywhere at once, building connections and interacting on a substantial basis with other users, not to mention Discord (and telegram) the time vacumes! How easy is it to get caught in a discord conversation and before you know it you've lost hours of your day! Well, that's my reasoning for getting this post out early today, I feel like it's going to be another day like yesterday where I'm trying to sloth myself between all these platforms and inevitably burn out by lunchtime!

The best thing is, recently most of the activity has been happening in the early evening for me, which means I've expunged all my energy throughout the day and miss all the 'active times'.

So, this post doesn't have the answers to any questions, it's simply a way for me to get some thoughts down, and hopefully nudge one of the gaming projects to give me a shout! I'm excited to be able to offer my services to them, such a sloth doesn't come around very often! Until next time,

Sloth out!
