Happy Thursday Sloths, Who utilised Ecency for those juicy points?

So over the last couple of weeks, I've challenged myself to post more, and I've stumbled into a few little "tricks" to help keep you buzzing!

The first one worth mentioning is Ecency, between the mobile app and the points system, it really does help incentivise the gamification side of Hive.

Not only can you earn HIVE for Creating and curating but with Ecency you also earn points for those tasks and other like adding friends or making posts. You can even earn just for "being online" and having a heartbeat on Ecency!

These points can then be converted into "boosts" or "promotion" slots to give your content even more oomf!

It seems everyone on Hive picks their "tribe", and sticks! It doesn't matter what features or benefits another platform has, people are stuck in their ways. I guess the same can be said for living for the most part, you can't teach an old dog new tricks!

For any young dogs though, I suggest checking out Ececny, and having a play around with the mobile app (one of, if not the BEST, mobile apps for Hive social media surfing). If you use Ecency for your daily surfing/commenting, you can almost always make enough points to boost a post for $1.

I can imagine to the majority of "new" users, a $1 payout PER post is a HUGE deal! So, if you're planning on onboarding new users, maybe suggest they check out Ecency as a way to ease them into the possibilities of Hive!
