Hive power up day is coming!

Good evening buzzers! Happy hump day! It’s been a relatively good day, for a hump day! I hope you’ve had a great day, or at least a productive day! I thought I was done with all my daily tasks but I forgot about the all important sloth post of the day!

I’ve been enjoying chasing the daily post as a minimum for my participation on Hive. It seems many are ‘invested’ in a monetary term, if not a content creation term. A relatively easy challenge to bridge over.

Content is one of the draws of Hive, there are many awesome creators on Hive hoping to blossom like a wild flower in spring! The blockchain as a whole has huge potential to onboard and accommodate creators in almost any field. There are countless great communities and individuals using Hive. The potential is huge.

Like most thing’s there are also a few disadvantages and pitfalls even with ‘decentralised’ technologies. A thorn in the side one could say. Let’s hope Hive can continue to onboard great developers and entrepreneurs to further maximise the potential of Hive. We’ve seen a number of new devs launching games and applications recently, thigs are definitely looking up for Hive.

For us “little” sloths, we have smaller community based activities to keep us buzzing! Whether we’re participating in a writing, photography or music contests, we’re adding to the potential draw of Hive. We each play a role in the longevity of Hive and it’s developers. Creating families and communities to support Hives potential.

The ‘mini events’ and culture within Hive help a lot of user feel welcomed and appreciated. Thing’s like Hive Power Up Day, which happens monthly is a huge benefit to ‘new users’ of Hive. Giving them a boost to keep growing. I particularly enjoy it as a chance to evaluate how my growth has been through the month. Seeing that growing interest from HBD always gives me a buzz!

Finding new great communities blooming week on week is heartening to see. There’s always something new and exciting happening on Hive it becomes addictive in itself. And with that i’m one day closer to my monthly posting badge! Striving to make my way through the bridge of procrastination. I’ll see you on the other side soon!
