I butter-fly away!

Good morning buzzers! Happy Thursday!

Yesterday whilst doing some work, I stumbled into a bunch of caterpillars! I've never seen so many in one place at one time! There must have been hundreds if not thousands! Every other leaf was swarming with these little guys, munching away on the leafs. There were some smaller ones, larger ones and pretty big ones! They look like 'large white butterfly' caterpillars, so seeing them as they cacoon and change into butterflies will be interesting!

They are sometimes known as cabbage whites, because of their decimation of many cabbage patches, these little creatures will eat their way through the majority of a plant and are the bane of farmers around the country! Luckily, these ones will be left to grow and turn into butterflies!
