Reading or Writing Hive posts?

Good Evening buzzers,

Today has been another interesting day delving into the mysteries of Hive. I stumbled across a few posts with a similar concept to those I've been sharing of late. After getting my buzz back and spending more time overall on Hive. Streamlining my communities and following feeds, beginning to think more thoroughly about what tokens/communities I blindly support. It seems I'm not the only one who's been struggling when it comes to their Hive activities. I've come to find that the more time I spend reading content the less time I spend producing content. I mean, who could have guessed if you spent time on one thing you inevitably leave less time for other things?

I guess it's a real catch-22 on Hive. Engaging with other users on Hive leads to more interactions and probably more readers. However, spending this time takes time away from producing quality content that those users would want to read. Or am I overthinking things? Technically by spending time reading those other posts I've given myself more reason to write this post.

I find myself pondering this position, whilst looking at the clock ticking away, I know I have other tasks to get to. Was it a mistake to spend time on tasks with a lower priority, (in fact, were they even lower priority tasks at all?) or was it worth investing my time into those other posts to gain a better understanding of differing opinions? A case could easily be made for either side. And, I'm here, typing my post, getting it out to those who are interested to read it. Do my priorities even align with my goals? What are my real goals for being here? (Damn this is a slippery slope, 'what is the meaning of life'?!?!?).

Am I procrastinating again or is this what Hive is really all about? Connecting with people, building off their ideas and creating your own? I asked AI to create an image of a sloth procrastinating, and this is what it came back with.

image.png

Is a procrastinating sloth tautology or pleonasm, should I simply have gone with a sloth sloths? Is this even the same thing at all? What are we even talking about anymore?! Is this post simply a regurgitation of those other posts I've been reading? Does this post even have a place on Hive?

Well, if nothing else we have some cute sloth Ai pictures as always, I think I'm going to bang my head off a wall for now and see if anything else comes up! (Not really, I like my head, and I dislike pain.) Check out this cute sloth pondering life and pretend it's me! Until next time,

Sloth out!

Yep, you've hit on the dilemma of Hive.... so much to explore so little time, and so easy to fall down interesting rabbit holes.

But the sloth pics are cite, and that's important too 😁

The Hive paradox, that would have been a great title! I think Hive has more than one dilemma that’s for sure!

I see sloths, in all in. Easily distracted !LOLZ

My motivation is high. However my technical knowledge is very low. I don’t think that comes across in my writing. Lack of knowledge sure does though 🤣🤣

Use AI to search an read the content for you by side 😉

I watched a video on x about that earlier actually, guy was using ai to scrub his x feed and create video scripts for him.

Still feels like too much effort for a sloth, I want my ai to do the research, write the posts, cover it’s tracks from ai watchers, earn my millions and deposit them into my bank haha

I guess the ‘right thing’ is what ever is best for us. There doesn’t seem to be a right way to Hive, we each find our own methods of making it work. Slothly but surely we’ll all find some buzz!
