Good morning buzzers, a new day, same old feather chasing! Yesterday at the local park I managed to snap some awesome pictures of the cygnets and their swan parents! Look at them all just chilling in formation, right by the side of the pond! The little cygnets are getting rather large, almost the same size as their parents already! They even have some of their white feathers coming through, although they'll keep the grey for the first year before turning into fully fledged swans!

It's so cool to watch them get bigger week by week! Soon they'll be the majestic white we're used to swans being and move on to another pond somewhere else, although it would be cool to see some of them sticking around and looking after mum and dad!

Well, that's another post done for the day, onwards with other tasks! I really need to give myself a shake this morning, so much to do, so little time as the ole saying goes! Until next time,

Sloth out!

Owww, I learned something new today, didn't know baby swans are called cygnets. 😅

What a nice view you have in your local park, hope you have a fantastic day!

Nice swans and cygnets ! I'm surprised they let you get that close, swans can be just as aggressive as geese when it comes to protecting their young.

When I was a kid growing up in Kingston, we all used to look forward to the swan-upping where they got the really ornate boats out from the back of Turk's Boatyard and used them to round up and count all the Queen's swans on the Thames.

They're in a pond in the local park, I think they're pretty used to people/dogs, we did keep our distance to ensure we didn't spook them though. I've seen them getting aggressive a few times, I know my place lol Us sloths arent quick enough to escape their fury!
