short: what i wrote. too many scams, takes too much time, i just lose money. + i miss, less focus on those, what are provably good (not only blockchain), and i earn on those.

basically 3 out of 6 things i get involved here with some money, turned out (or involved, partly got damaged by) pyramid game, ponzi scheme ,scam, manipulation or some kind of combination of these. Hit by the very core creators or relevant 'community members', 'investors'.

I mean, i know these things happens, involved in the wild-west-crypto space, everybody gets scammed in life, on small level i even did that in past, too. but here the level is just extremely high, no boundaries, any morality, many of the 'projects' destroyed by the very core 'community members' (scammers) (or even created, designed for only that purpose), some even before it would go live, so i consider Hive, and 'projects' here extremely risky, not worthy to spend time, nor money. unless, i dont wanna be the scammer, and actually i dont want to do that.

do you want these accounts? then just send me an email address on discord, and i send keys.

I would like to ask you to stay 😀 there is no need to invest here, you can still run the poker community, without buying any tokens. Look at you GLS post! That is extremely well curated!

:) well, that was the first thing like this... but i just thought, ok, i didnt check around that well enough. i didn't know about the exploit what happened there with the glx-glusd token, and i put into that game $2-2.5k, what i already acknowledge as a full loss. if i get back just half of it, i will be really happy. (unfortunately, it's like a regular thing here, there are certain users, group of people, who use only for similar purposes the Hive.)

that post means nothing, not even a small compensation, as i spent for that 3 days on discord (and didnt trade or play any poker on those days, + 1/3 i gave back for next similar glg tourney as prize), as i suppose, with that split from splinterlands, the dev guys just want to secure SPL, and basically wrote off glg... i did all of those, just save some of the amount what i put there, as that spl-glg team does basically nothing since months. zero activity, promotion, and 1 month left till stake ends, total collapse...

that's a diff. thing, that aggro voted for that(even if i didnt do for that), anyway, i guess if his team does something similar beta thing, that cost $200+...

and generally i was disappointed in Hive, most of the users since long time!

see you in Heroes of Holdem! :)

It is all about the connections you make here. You have a good thing going in the poker community and I would really be happy if you continue at least that. My time is very limited unfortunately so I can not handle a community. But I am sure you will be able to find people who help you.
Also IDK know anything about GLG I am getting the airdrop due to my SPL assets. I still believe that both projects can survive and be profitable again as companies. As for games and investment I always consider that lost money just like a buy in at a cashgame.
Do your own thing on HIVE that is what is all about.
I would not consider those companies scam though. Yes there have been maliciuos actors who exploited the tokenomics. Shit like this always will happen, but let's be clear of course it is not ok.
People have a reputation on HIVE and some just do not care about their own and scam people, others are straight forward good people.I made so manynew connections also in real life. I would not turn the protocol the back. you choose who you interact with here.

Speaking of Holdem. I can't seem to find the place where you mentioned this first, but I will definitely back you up there when I find it

We are happy to have you PokerMaria, and I am sure if you have delved deep enough into us you understand how legitimate we are. If you want to find some way to collaborate as a promoter, we are open to discussions.

Wow I like crypto and have been in it for years, in Hive for not that long (2 years) but I would not invest 2k in a game on here. Sorry you had these experiences :(

nothing is an investing here, nor in most of the cryptos. seeing that, i decided to max. $50 in anything on Hive. that was a good thing to do. so i just lost 30-40% on the rest... 😀

to be honest, crypto is high risk generally, and i was prepared to lose that, but not in the way, how it happened. same with the other 2. it wasn't because of project failed, it was the old timer 'community members'... (this dhedge thing, i think was purposely built for that) and what is even disturbing more than lose the money, they just justify it with some incredible bullsht (or dont even do that), and pretty much nobody cares. keep going further.

de-fi laws coming earlier or later, maybe then i will check back, take a look, these individuals have stopped or been stopped. until that, not even worthy to use it for blog.

Yes I classify all crypto activities as a gamble as you have to be prepared it goes down to zero.

The only investment I do is my time. I am in DHEDGE and DVS so not sure what you were talking about, but I shall investigate.

good, you don't have much. basically a week ago the maddogtime-watchlist account network manipulated the VDS market (fullfilled all the buy orders and setup a 0.01 HIVE sell order just few minutes before the drop) Turned out the drop was based on current lowest sell, so everybody received approx. 110x DVS on that day.

of course, it was a well paid move to the few big delegators (including maddogtime, who did it), but basically resulted a huge loss to everybody else who bought DVS. you can post as much as you want, never will get back that amount... DVS price dropped by 70-80% since then, some people (including big ones) already stopped delegation.

matter of time, i suppose until they don't sell all DVS, what they got from that huge drop, all big delegators will pull their HP... as the dhedge guy totally ignore this tiny fact, there is a good chance, the hole DVS thingy were created by this purpose.

i lost just 20-25 bucks, + what i sent for the freerolls...

pure scam, they fooled people with the offer for higher return than other delegation programs. people started to buy, made the drop manouver, sell the rest, and it's over. you never even had the tiniest chance to earn on it, not even getting back your money...

and the shocking part: it looks like totally okay, normal for most of the people (some simply just too stupid to understand what really happened), and obviously for all the big delegators, dhegde guy.

basically a scam & ponzi-scheme combo were played down there, too...

I must admit my eye was not on it. I have 3000 DHEDGE I think and was then airdropped DVS when it was launched. But I went to my wallet and yes damn saw much more DVS than I would expect!

I saw your comments you bought in discord, where do you trade coins in discord like that?
