My Goals For 2023

These are my main goals for me to focus on. This List is a little bigger than usual but it represents what I want and need to get to before my crypto will work for me as hard as I work for it. I realize that these goals may not be fully achieved but this is what I have to work for. I'm sure it will be just like in past years where I complete some goals & unfortunately some goals fall a little short. But the whole point of having goals is to know where you're headed & to help keep you on track to get there.

The Nitty Gritty

Let's take a look at the real reason you came to this post.

INCOME TOKENS

These tokens I consider the most important tokens since they produce more of other tokens and sometimes Hive. Because I need Hive to buy other tokens my main focus will be on building those tokens that pay me Hive.

This week I've add a new token to my income. The #FRENCH Token, this token dropped into my wallet some time in the last couple of weeks so I looked into it and found that it pays dividends in swap.hive weekly.

TIPPING TOKENS

I love tipping tokens because most of the time my vote has no value or very little when it does, even less than you get from a tipping token. So as a way to show appreciation for their post or comment I like to add a tip so they get something from me.
This week there's a little growth in most, basically what I have received in tips.

Tipping tokens have their own rules and values so I want to be able to tip at the highest value & the most possible times so that I always have something to tip.

MINNER TOKENS

Minner tokens are good to have as a way to earn the standard token. (CTPM mines CTP). I consider the miner token an income token since they produce more of the standard token.
This week most of the miners are still the same since I just don't have the funds to buy right now. However, EDSMM & WorkerBEE changes often. #WorkerBEE is a part of my savings plan & I get a little #EDSMM whenever I can find some.

Rewards Tokens

There are some reward tokens on my concentration list. I didn’t include this before because I didn’t have my chart & figures together so I didn’t even know that they belonged here. But these tokens are at the foremost of my portfolio, alongside income tokens. One of things about these tokens is that they are more than your average token. Some are multi-functional & have valid use case history & there’s a few that have piqued my interest & I want to support them. Of course this could change in the future but I'll deal with that when it happens.

DELEGATIONS

Delegations are another great way to earn crypto. When you delegate you get dividends usually in the form of the token you're delegating to. Sometimes you get Hive, and sometimes you may get another token. It all depends on the token provider, they usually have a post on what they pay or you can always go to their community on discord & ask questions.

My List Is Growing!

Since last report, I learned that my hive that I have delegated is earning interest just as my own HP so it grows as well. I added a line to the chart (With APR-New Amount) that shows what Hive says my delegation is.
This week I also added person-toperson delegations to show individuals I delegate to. At this time there's only one, my grandson whom I'm trying to help him out.

SATURDAY SAVERS CLUB

This has been a good initiative I joined last August. It helped me to save toward specific tokens as well as earn tokens. This club is a part of the SPInvest project & is a good way to get you to hodl & save your crypto while earning from them. View my latest post.

POWER UP EVERY MONTH HIVE, PIZZA, & LEO

Powering Hive up every month is something I've been doing for a little more than a year now, in September, 2022 I started powering up Leo and then followed that the next month by powering up PIZZA. Powering up is a way to grow your power in these tokens or any token. I have seen my LEO power triple since I started participating in the LPUD, which has made my LEO earnings increase. I don't power up these tokens until 'Power Up Day' arrives. This way I don't have to buy as much when PUD arrives.

Since Last Report HivePUD, PPUD & LPUD have all happened & I was able to power up 50 Hive, 300 Pizza & 150 Leo.

My Goals For 2023

OTHER PLANS

There are so many things to be a part of on Hive that you can easily take on too much, this has happened to me over the years. Whenever something new/new token hit the market I had to get involved. Now that has overwhelmed me & I began to let things slip through the cracks. Things I didn't want to let go of but I was trying to be a part of too much. So in light of that, I now have to clean up my mess & get back to reality which is I can't do it all. Also, I have to remember there are still things to come.

WRITE THOUGHTS & IDEAS MORE IN JOURNAL
I used to use a journal to write down my thoughts & ideas, but lately I haven't been doing that as much. All the pieces of note paper or a index cards are everywhere, no organisation. My journals are any notebook I have handy. This week I've been using my journal & it stays open on my desk.
I keep my notebook right on my desk open & in front of my
computer. This has been very useful, it almost makes me pick up the pen as soon as I have a thought or see something I want to keep or post about. No more scraps of paper or index cards with my notes all over the place.
I guess you could say this is done, but the thing is to keep it going for the rest of the year.

UNWANTED TOKENS
What do you do with something you don't want? Simply put, you get rid of it. I plan to sell all the tokens that come into my wallet that I have no interest in. There are tons of them just sitting there & most of them have no value, no use case & a topic I want no part of. Those that are worth less than one Hive I will set an offer and leave it til it sells or rises in value.
I have managed to unload some of these. In the process I found that a couple of them (like APE) drops into my wallet becasue of my holdings in income tokens like INDEX, so I will probably move the to my rewards list of undecided tokens.

FULLY DISOLVE OF SPLINTERLANDS – (SEND TO RYAN) Well under way...

While this is high on my list and although I want to disolve the game, I find that it's not that simple. Although I don't play anymore, it plays a part in my portfolio & income on Hive. I do have cards that I rent and need to find a way to replace what I get from them before I can let it go completely.

I'll be sending them to my grandson, Ryan. I got him on Hive and into the game in 2021 when I spent half the year in Pennyslvainia where he lives. Besides, he understands it better than I do.
Now he's got a new cell phone and I have started sending him the cards.I have also delegated hi,e some HP & RC, Isent him some HBD to cover the cost of his spellbook, so he's pretty much set.

GET RID OF OTHER GAMES I’M NO LONGER INTERESTED IN
Like DCITY, CRYPTO-BREWMASTER, & a few others, keeping only those that I have actually had the time to play. I also need games that have a type of set-n-forget thing, where I can do some actions and return later to collect & set up again, kinda like Rising Star & Rabona. Cleaning out games I've been sitting on cause there's no time or no space on my Chromebook that I play my games on. Also I have to make room for upcoming games like ChifiBots.

Haven't done anything here just yet but I just lost one game (Rabona) due to it's ending and in the process, I also lost all the in-game tokens. I'm glad I didn't pay for these tokens saise I would be real upset about it if I had.

BUILD MY RAVEN POSITION
Raven is a muscian that I have been following and she has a token & often give gifts to her token holders. She is growing and she's doing right here on Hive. I like to build my holdings of her tokens to about 100 tokens.

GET BACK INTO CUB LIFE & SPI
These initiatives I got into way back when and are 2 of the things that fell through the cracks. They have been producing very small earnings for me ever since. I had much to learn about them so they ended up being smothered by all the newer stuff. A couple of months ago I took the time to invest a little in CL as before & I seen my CL holdings double, so why not get back to it, now is the perfect time. SPI drops a Hive in my wallet once a week just for holding it, so why shouldn't I increase my holdings in SPI. I'm sending my shares over to CL today for this month. I always wait until after LPUD so I can see what I have left.

Since last report I sent over a little Hive & Leo and got a retun of 25CL, that was so exciting! Gonna try to do the same again in February. Trying to make this a regular like PUD's.

GET BACK TO CTP & LISTNERDS
As I got involved with other things, I let ListNerds fall through the cracks. I do go to the site a few times a week right now & read a few emails but still haven't done much more than that. My token growth on the platform does however continue to grow.

CTP - this is what bought me to Hive & helped me get to where I am today. It was the teachings of @jongolson, @elianaicgomes, & @blainjones that helped to stucture me and keep me up to date on anything crypto in their vessels.
They have created several vehicles on Hive that has also helped my growth. They continue to build on the blockchain & make programs that only helps to increase my earnings, all I have to do is use them. One day I'll introduce you to the programs of CTP.

MY SERIES
Last year as a way to produce content, I developed some series to write/update on a regular basis so that I know that I had a few valuable pieces of content to present you with. I need to work on these series on a more consistent basis, @ least 2 posts per month for each series. I also have one I mentioned last year but never started it.

Enough to overwhelm anyone!

But it's all about getting to where I want to be. My goals this year are a little different than usual & a result of seeing what's been happening over the past couple of years. These goals aren't just to say what tokens I plan to focus on but pretty much all of what I plan to do on Hive this year. The things I've been doing have been working but very slowly. I need to step up my game.

These last few things on the list, I haven't done anything with yet but will get to them soon. I'm still working to make eveything fit together, kinda like a system.

DIESEL POOLS

AUREAL - PODCAST APP
Learn more about the app & how to use it. I'll be preparing myself for the 30 day challenge 'NaPodPoMo' (National Podcasting Posting Month) in Nov 2023.

WITNESS NODE
Another one of those things I don't understand but here it's a good thing to do & earn some Hive in the process. So one more thing to educate myself on.

DISCORD
Learn more about the use of discord. For personal use & for the preparation of my own community. I also need to clean up my discord & get rid of some of those groups I am no Longer interested in.

TEAM FUTURE FAITH
This is my community! I have already created the community through PeakD over a year ago. I had lots of thoughts, ideas, & plans but found that there was so much to learn if I planned on running a community. Plus I needed to get a few other people interested that would help me in building the community with tasks like curating & commenting. And I also needed to decide on what token I would reward with until I could get my own. More to come in the future!
