Good evening, I am @superr and we are in Canton, Ohio, United States. On January 5, 1969, on this day and in this place, the antichrist, Brian Hugh Warner, was born.

Barbara Wyer's only son, this lady suffered from severe hallucinations, claimed she could see ghosts and could see the devil himself at the foot of her bed, Brian Warner's father, a Vietnam War veteran, who suffered from severe post-traumatic stress, but was still a man with a great sense of humor, liked to make heavy and very inappropriate jokes, as you can imagine with this combination of father and mother, because the atmosphere of the Warner House could get a little tense despite this, his parents tried to give him the best life possible. Giving him practically everything Brian asked for in the privacy of their home, the little one.

Music comes into Brian's life thanks to a childhood friend who introduced him to his first rock band, KISS, who was a super fan and wore makeup like them. Religion plays a very important role in this story. In an attempt to get Brian to start straightening his path early, he was enrolled in a religious school called Heritage Christian School where he was encouraged to play sports, something he never liked. For his part, he was fascinated by everything that was American popular culture, cartoons, comics, games, movies, but what really interested Brian was the arts, painting, drawing, sculpting figures, he loved reading his favorite magazine, he even created his own humor magazine and sold it to his classmates who were not allowed to have magazines.

Origins and Formation of the Band

Brian Warner adopted the name Marilyn Manson by combining two opposing icons of American culture: actress Marilyn Monroe and murderer Charles Manson. The band formed in Florida in 1989 as Marilyn Manson & the Spooky Kids, and initially operated on the underground circuit, attracting the attention of counterculture fans. Manson and guitarist Daisy Berkowitz were founding members, and their first recording attracted the attention of producer Trent Reznor, leader of Nine Inch Nails, who became a key ally in launching their career.

Studio Albums

  • Marilyn Manson, 25 years old, released his first album "Portrait of an American Family" in (1994) the songs "Lunchbox" and "Get Your Gunn" became immediately popular among people. People called radio stations to request some of the songs already mentioned in this album.

  • "Smells Like Children" from (1995) Originally conceived as an EP, it evolved into a more complete collection that included the iconic cover of Eurythmics' "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)", which became a hit and gave Manson exposure on MTV. This work included remixes and covers, consolidating his experimental and dark style. But the best of all is that he didn't even believe the success he had with this song.

  • "Antichrist Superstar" (1996) with this album he would reach worldwide fame and the songs "The Beautiful People" and "Tourniquet" would help him but on the other hand he had religious and Protestant people on top of him

  • "Mechanical Animals" (1998) in this album he changed his aesthetics a little less aggressive and it was also a stage of evolution of Marilyn Manson and also in the sound of his songs, the songs "The Dope Show" and "I Don't Like the Drugs (But the Drugs Like Me)" stood out.

  • "The Pale Emperor" (2015) Considered one of his best works in years, this album introduces a more blues rock sound with influences from film noir. Songs like "Third Day of a Seven Day Binge" and "Deep Six" show a renewed Manson, exploring a more mature and atmospheric approach.

Marilyn Manson has been the subject of constant controversy, from his criticism of religion and politics, to his extreme performances on stage and in music videos. He has influenced several generations of musicians and has helped define the industrial rock genre. However, in recent years, Manson has also faced serious accusations of abuse and misconduct, which has affected his legacy and the public perception of his work.

One thing is obvious Marilyn Manson is not an innocent Paloma, but personally and based on the data presented here I do not believe that he has done the things that he was accused of and if it is conclusively proven otherwise, well the corresponding authorities will take charge and what should we do, the people to whom his music has been a great inspiration? I am not going to tell you what to do or what to think, but I will tell you what I will do, something very simple and that is to separate the artist from his work.
