Welcome to July

Bang @lhes that is the first half of the year gone, six months done and dusted!

Which is an ideal time to review my yearly goals and my progress on the HIVE blockchain...

However, that is a post for another day.

Because there are two purposes of this post ...

Firstly we have Hive Power Up Day...

Putting my money where my mouth is!

Why should we power up and what the fluff is it?

Quite simply when we convert our liquid Hive into Hive Power or HP then we have powered up our account.

By Powering Up we are also performing staking of a token on the Hive blockchain.

Powering up some or all of your Hive means that you are also increasing your voting power for both governance issues along with distribution of the reward pool. The amount of Resource Credits you have available also increases.

Did you know that you can delegate your Resource Credits? Well yes you can, either to a newbee to help them post and comment or to another account for some goodies!

Your HP or your Stake is what determines what you will receive when voting content. Growing your HP means you will become more powerful as a curator.

I powered up 10 Hive on this leo account and on my main Hive account too. So why not help your account and the whole Hive ecosystem and power up today!

Secondly today is Saturday which means ...

... it's my progress for the Saturday Savers Club post 🎉🥳

So let's flex some of my results from week 26.

Saturday Savers Club is back, and this year I am participating right from the beginning (if you have not participated then there is still time!).

The Table for Week 26

DISCLAIMER ~ We have now hit the six month mark of 2023 and hence the 50% mark. I will be reviewing my Hive goals for 2023 in detail and changing the goal posts for some things... Stay tuned to see if I shall be doing what @coquicoin-leo and @fantagira7 have done recently!!!

Primary Goals

• I added 32 HP this week. Not great, be honest it was pishpoor, but that is what happens when you don't write!

• I added 0 LP With my leo alt account (this one) I only stake liquid $LEO IF I have already have 150 in my account ready for lpud.

My SAVINGS results ... yes they survived Mrs T's clutches @shanibeer!!!

☑️ This is already proving a success as I have saved 349 Hive and 360 HBD!!

☑️ Powering Up 1 Hive daily, I started this on December 1st and do it as part of my Saturday Savers Club daily routine when I am hitting that save button.

Secondary Goals & Layer 2 tokens

I realised that my layer 2 tokens had been static for a while. So I had placed some buy orders, many were filled and things are getting back on track.

I picked up 500 ALIVE and another 210 DHEDGE. Seems that DHEDGE and ALIVE are now in a race to the first to 5k!

I picked 2 more SPI, 1.6 more BRO and my LGN INK and HIQ are all on track.

When I graduated in Chemical Engineering I really wanted to be a trader or get a job in the stock market, alas the gods they sent me travelling the world instead so I am not complaining, but I love trading and have been doing a fair bit of that off Hive!

I have also found my love again for H-E tokens and when I do my six month review of 2023, you shall see I am switching emphasis on what I will be reporting!

I must admit, I love reading all the reports that we generate and have picked up some pearls of wisdom.

My rating, I give myself a 8.5/10!
